Post subject:  The Gulch withdrawals virus

In posting this, I’m hoping some of the CR vets can jump in and give us some hints. I just left CR 5 days ago from my virgin trip and I’m going thru some freaking wild withdrawals symptoms. I have already book a trip for June and another for October and I’m still feeling like I will never get there.

I will ask someone/anybody that can update the Costa Rica for Dummiesâ„¢ (and Newbies) thread and create a section on how to deal with CR withdrawals. Maybe some hints personal stories. Warnings.

I did a search and it seems that there is a comment here and there but nothing for a cure other than to get back as soon as possible. Any ideas/suggestions?

Back home after my first trip home I was FREAKING out. I went to a local Colombian Restaurant in Atlanta and accosted every girl that I got close to.
They finally ran me off .

JOsie,

Welcome to the world of sexual cocaine.........a few more trips to CR and brfore you know it you will be headed to places like Colombia, Peru and
Brazil.

You will do this for a while to wild abandon, depending on your financial situation and than you will slow down to a more reasonable schedule or maybe even seek out a more normal relationship with a latina.

It definitley will change your life.
Buena suerte in dealing with it all.

Pacoloco,

To answer your question: After 12 years of Costa Rica addiction with 3 years of Colombia (and a marriage and divorce there) mixed in, and almost 2 years living in CR, I can say without a doubt that you will slow down in about, ugh!...lets see!.....well in.... OH! hell, I still do not know when    . BUT, I am sure It will happen to me SOMEDAY!! OH yep, I remember when--the day I die!!!!!!!!!!

Post subject:  Update to withdrawals

Thanks PacoLoco, those links were great. Like they said, misery loves company. By Sunday evening had the withdrawals and jonesing under control. But to put the cherry on top, Today, I decided to give this girl a call and guess what, R4M. Or at least, she hit me for a new phone. The only phone she is going to get from me is her talking to my dick when I get back.

Very dumb move, wait at least until I’m hooked and sinker. I guess she is desperate or they figure we are just too easy of a prey. Needless to say that helps the addiction and will keep me on alert until I get back in June.

Everyone else, thank you for the kind comments and advise.
