Ok so I have cancelled my DR reservations and booked the Whole house @ Casa Vino.
I am making casa Vino the center of operations for my group.
My other six friends will have to do the clarion across the street (booked thru Nixon of course).
We have decided to spend the first night and the last night in San Jose.
Our stay will be from March 27th Thu April 1st.

• Would an Arenal tour be a wasted day?
• What’s the p4p action like on the Caribbean coast?
• Is there any p4p at all in the Arenal area?

Keep in mind that some members of my team are married and need alibi pictures for there wives.
II would stay in San Jose the whole week, but unfortunately majority reigns supreme in this situation

Thank again guy

bulkrockwell,

IMO, you're trying to over-plan and over-analyze your trip. It's hard enough travelling with several other people, let alone trying to make a game plan, and then stick to it.

If I were you, I would just go with the flow. Because if you make plans ahead of time, it's inevitable that they'll go to shit anyways!

Relax, and just try to have fun. You and your friends will have a good time, you'll all get laid, and if you do a day trip, you can get plenty of pics for those back home.

Pura Vida!

MG

-Not unless you'd rather be spending your time with beautiful women or the volcano is clouded over and you can't see it, but it is a long day.
- Slim to none.
- No.

I suggest taking day tours from your home base in SJO, there's dozens of them like the ATVs, zip lines, volcanos, rafting, etc. I've never noticed but surely there's a tour desk in the Amon lobby. Maybe a side trip for a day or two to Jaco would fit in your relatively short trip also.
Have fun.

Been there, done that!

The anxiety of your 1st trip can be overwhelming at times. We've all been there. But no worries. You'll be amazed at how easy it is to book things, once you're on the ground in CR. Almost any / every hotel can set you up with day trips.

Just get there, check into your hotel and then relax with a cocktail in your hand. Once you've gotten rid of that anxiety (and the nuisance nut  ) then you can start making plans.

It's all good! 8)

Chances are, at this time of year, Arenal will be nothing but clouds, so you won't see the volcano. No P4P that i've seen (and i've been there a few times). The hot springs are why people go there, not so much the volcano, though the volcano is spectacular if you can see it (or so i've been told, i've never seen it in my several trips).

Do the day trips, that'll give you good alabis
