is the electric outlets the same or do i gotta pick up a converter to use my electric stuff

same.

One thing though... the newer outlets are mostly 3-prong, so if you have a laptop or something that uses a 3-prong cord, you're good. The older outlets are usually 2-prong (no ground), but most hotels will have small converter you can borrow. In the past, when I stayed in the old wing rooms at SL, I had to borrow it to run my laptop.
