just get a room downtown.

the rates for the cheaper ones like hotel asia (right down the street from the Del Rey) or the hotel nuevo johnson should run you less than 15 dollars for the entire day/night.

the chica fees should be less than a couple of bucks at the above joints.

or, just get a room at the hotel presidente, hotel morazan or one of the other gulch hotels.

also, don't forget the numerous MP's where the room is included in the service like the Zona Blue, New Fantasy or the less expensive Tico joints.

it just doesn't pay to look for an hourly rate room.

In addition to hotels already mentioned:

Hotel Europa (downtown, not the Radisson near the airport) = $25.00/hour

Aside from Motel Eden, there are other drive-in (literally) short-time hotels in Barrio San Francisco, including Motel San Francisco. Many offer room service for drinks and snacks, too.

I disagree with C. Dude here. I think that if you want anyplace fairly decent, clean sheets etc. you're actually better off using an ST hotel room... the Asia is nasty, the N. Johnson is a long way from the del Rey. I would agree however that if you're planning to do a lot of one-hour dates, someplace like the Morazan would be a good deal. For a one-shot, just rent a room for an hour at any of the hotels listed above. :D

Have fun, play safer!
