Hi all,

Newbie here planning 1st trip for 08, although my dates are not firm yet.

I was hoping to hear pro's/con's on visiting SJ at various times of the year.

I have gathered (from reading other posts) that Dec-Feb is something of a peak for SJ. I don't know if that is good or bad.

I think I would prefer a time when business is down (but the ladies are still working) for a little added negotiating position.--freaking US dollar is in the garbage and ain't gonna be getting any better anytime soon....

Also, it would probably be nice to avoid mom & pop family vacation traffic, if possible.

I work at a resort in Myrtle Beach, SC so taking vacation during our peak, (May-Aug) is out.

I could care less about the weather. I am not going for fishing/golf and my office is 30 yards from the beach.

I know there will be pro's/cons to any time of the year, not to meantion the ever-present ones..)

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.
