I was at the Blue Marlin in July with my significant other so I did not partake in any activities.

Question 1 -- I understand that the hourly rate is $100 (although that can sometimes be negotiated down), but what is the going average rate for a girl to stay overnight with you?

Question 2 -- I currently have reservations in late January at The Sleep Inn. We stayed there and liked it. Any real advantages in staying at the Del Rey?

JP99,

The prices quoted to you are all negotiable. Though a chica could ask you $300 for an all night stayover....that could very well be negotiated down to $100.....or less! It all depends on your negotiating skill. Also....always negotiate up front before going to the room, the services you want, the price, and make sure the chica is in agreement. NEVER pay up front. Once the chica has your money, she is in control of the situation.

As for the SLEEP INN...they are NOT CHICA FRIENDLY....you will possibly pay a $25 chica fee to take her to your room. The Del Rey is your best option....It is GROUND ZERO. Mongering life there will be much easier for a newbie like you.

JP- you have a lot of reading to do my friend.

I will say this, pricing for independent girls will be up to you. Yes, "the going rate" hasn't changed, but when all the smoke settles it's going to be on you what you can work out.

There are many places to stay, but you will find quite a few CRT members at the Sportsman Lodge ( a home away from home for most of us)

Good luck amigo and take some time to read a little...

JP99:

as for girls two suggestions: if you truly are interested in overnights I strongly and I mean strongly recommend you take her for an hour test drive and if you're happy with the performance upgrade to an overnight. The second suggestion is that if you decide to upgrade to overnight make sure she understands exactly what you expect. Many of these girls will take an overnight to mean they're out of their as soon as the sun comes up. I'm an early riser and usually no later than seven o'clock I'm having coffee at the coffee bar at the Del Rey. Part of my morning entertainment is watching the girls come down to pick up their IDs. Between six and seven there is a flurry of activity.

As for where to stay I would strongly recommend the Del Rey. Your first time out keep it as simple as you can and it don't get no simpler than the Del Ray. You're not used to the streets of San Jose do not take chances.

Zebra, Cujo and Lee.

Many thanks for the input. I realize that negotiating skills are required in SJ. I also realize I'm not too good at it. Oh well.

The main reason I am planning to stay at the Sleep Inn:
1. $293 for 3 nights (possibly 1 night free also)
2. Proximity to BM
3. Very nice hotel (stayed there before)
4. Free breakfast
5. Free airport transportation

When you consider 1, 4, and 5, the $25 charge for bringing a woman to the room is not bad. I understand your advice to stay at the DR, though. I have a while to change my mind.

Again, thanks. There is so much information on this website!!!

If you upgrade to VIP membership, and book thru Nixon, you can stay at Amon Plaza.

1. $210 for 3 nights
2. Not far from BM
3. Very nice hotel also
4. Very good free breakfast
5. $6 interbus transfer to airport

*6. YOU WON'T BE LOOKED DOWN UPON FOR BRINGING GIRLS BACK TO YOUR ROOM.
