intiende d'un poco anglais? or comprende ? I grew up in south Texas and my tex-mex amigos always said comprende but my Pimsileur uses intiende.

Entiende - understand
Comprende - Comprehend


Your choice.

conjugation:
Yo entiendo / comprendo
Tu entiendes / comprendes
El entiende / comprende
Nosotros entendemos / comprendemos
Uds. entienden / comprenden
Ellos entienden / comprenden

I'll skip vosotros, b/c I think it's bogus, and never use it.

For your example above:
Entiende un poco ingles?
or
Entiendes un poco ingles?

"Entender" is more common, but either one will work.
