put your stack of clothes right beside your stack of money.......then take away half the clothes and double the money and you will be ready :D

Leave the bling at home. Email to yourself your itinerary along with your scrambled Credit card numbers and the # to call if your card is lost or stolen (on the back of the card), confirmation numbers to flights, hotels, Passport #, health insurance phone # and ID #, etc.. If you lose your wallet or ? you can retrieve the info from any computer.

Take Money and extra condoms

I usually go for $20's, 10's, and 5's for tips :)

$5s for tips? wow you are richer than I!

Bring singles! the smallest bill there is the equivilent to $2 US. I bring US singles and tip with those, especially at the nudie bars!

I don't tip at the nudie bars... just for full service... If they're bad they get 0, so-so gets 5, good gets 10, amazing gets 20...

I have only once tipped more than 20, and it was after the best TLN I've ever had, and I gave her 50...

I usually just convert a whole bunch of $50's to colones, then tip accordingly. good service = 500 colones tip, outstanding service = 1000 colones tip, everyday tip for the maid 5000 colones and so on and so forth.
