Guys: I hate to be the kill joy here, but The only reason we allowed avatars to be used were to show the VIP membership of our board members. I knew I was opening up a can of worms, but I have noticed members now adding their own Avatars on the side under their screen names that have nothing to do with CRT. This causes pages to open slowly for members without high speed access depending on the type or size of the avatar moving etc. I ask you kindly Please do not Link avatars under your screen names. Allow that only to be used for the VIP CR FLAG! Thank you. Sincerely, The Team At CRTICAS! |

Guys I'll ask again, please leave the CRflag signifying you as a CRT VIP member as is. I know its tempting to change them to moving type flags etc, but it defeats the purpose. THANK YOU! DO NOT CHANGE YOUR VIP AVATARS! |

Since going on 3 years we have 3 year Veterans doing it... I thought I'd bring this back to the TOP... PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE YOUR AVATAR UNDER YOUR SCREE NAME. It is there to show VIP Status only.... Since the VIP flag images are pulled off our server it never slows down the pages.. However those who post off site Avatars when those are not readily available or the server where they reside is not functioning, it will slow down a slower internet connection and will keep the page from loading. SO IN SHORT DON'T CHANGE YOUR AVATAR, it is as a courtesy to our board members with slow connections... |

When you join for a year you will get a Costa Rican flag and if you join as a lifetime member you will get a lifetime member avatar. Your CRT newbie will change as you post more. There are diffrent levels according to your number of posts. If you are the secret owner of CRT  , as in the conspiracy theory floated in another thread,  then you will get a CR flag that is animated when you fess up.

Something I've wondered, are non-VIPs allowed to have avatars under their screen name? I've noticed over the last few months some instances of some members using very large pictures, AZGuy being the latest. |
