I'll be staying near the Del Rey and was wondering what the best way is to get to Zona Blue. Can you walk there during the day? Or walk to any other MP's during the day? Is it safe to walk in these areas? I know to only take taxis at night, so can you tell the cabbie Zona blue or New Fantasy and he'll know what you are talking about? And then leaving, are there taxis around or do you need to call one ahead of time? Thanks for all the help, great board, got my VIP card last week. |

Stjim, Welcome to the board. During the day, it's safe to walk around town. I still wouldn't recommend it solo, safety in numbers. Find a wimgman or two and check things out together. Or just get a taxi. The thing is that taxis don't know many of these places by name, and they have their own places they will take you to since they get a commission. Never let a taxi change your mind to take you to a different place. Print out the map and start walking. It's pretty easy to find a wingman at Sportsmens or Zona Blue. Many CRT guys hang there. Taxi's are ubiquitous. You can't swing a cat without hitting one, and there's enough of those around the HDR to have tried it once or twice... ![]() I personally recommend walking during the day. Get to know the place, enjoy the beauty of the place, stop by any of the souvenir shops, and buy someone back home something from CR. Walking through Morazon, ZB can't be more than 4 blocks from HDR. Plus if you walk, you'll see many of the other places on the way, like NF, Muses, maybe Europa 2000 if you get slightly lost. |

I just walk. Its only a few blocks. DON'T WALK AT NIGHT. Make sure you leave all valubles locked up in the room. If you are at the SL you will never have a problm finding a wingman. Z.B. is easy to find if you use the map on this sight. Win |

i love walking the steerts during the daytime hours ..get the map out and i like to pick a tall building out as my point to get back to...as you will find out san jose lacks the use of street signs ...my first trip i got turned around and found myself walking in the total wrong direction and it was getting dark and no cabs were in site(or already had someone in the cab) biggest thing about saftey is i think the chances of getting mugged seem slim (but it could happen as we read about it) but breaking your leg or foot on the shitty streets ...i found a hole about 2 feet deep and about 1 foot wide that was just off the curb...if you didnt look down you be in for some real pain...and what was really bad was that hole stayed that way my entire 8 day trip !!!again as i have said on many reports ...the key to having a good time in these mp's is stay more than 5 mins ...just grab a seat and wait it out ..something or someone will get you going and a good time will be had...i am in town in less than 8 days !! if your in town give me a pm chilimike |

Mikey, C'mon Man. By voting "no more big words," you are making us out to be a bunch of ignoranuses. Besides, QBF is right about taxis being ubiquitous. In addition, they are everywhere. Ciaociao |
