heyo all,

long time lurker, first time poster... a long story short, Ive been contemplating trip to CR in April, and have some flex time to spend as I see fit - thing is I only got confirmation this past week it was still a go... I will be flying solo and arriving in SJ on the 18th, and probly there until the 21st (maybe til 24th - everything is fluid)... anywho, Im looking into staying at the SL or DR as a backup (I wouldnt mind taking in ambiance of DR - but would like a nice quieter base of operations on my virgin visit).

That said, was wondering if any1 will be around? I read something about Orange's party at SL during those dates, or hell if any1 else might be in the city then... I dont mind jumping out and trying it on my own, but would be nice to meet up with some peeps as well.

So, ya - das it - not only looking for whetting my whistle in the gulch, but wouldnt mind a night.afternoon perusing its little sights would be good. anywho, if any1 needs a 6'2" CDN who can pack beers away at a whim, lemme know

There's a few guys in town. A few other first-timers as well as many vets. If you stop by the SL happy hour we've got set up around 4-5pm, you'll meet over 20.

"virgin" werewolf and 5 buddies all going to SJ for first time. would love to get together at SL or other.

we booked 6 rooms at the M (thx CRT for all the data) so the place is mostly ours. they were very nice when making our reservations and marisol at the desk gave me boucoup info.

i guess SL at 4-5 is the way to go. we can be there on thursday 4/19. does that work???


QUESTIONS:

1. im too late to get my CRT VIP card b4 i leave so can i get one in SJ?

2. best place to change money? banks and casinos???

3. is USD usuable regularly with the girls.

apologies if ive asked questions with answers already posted, but the volume of data here is astounding. im the only one in my gorup with the time to scour it so im behind. THX for not abusing me in advance.
