From about May-October, it's considered the "green" (rainy) season. It usually rains daily anywhere from 20 minutes to 5 hours, from a light drizzle to a heavy downpour, except for the days it doesn't rain at all or all day.
Too hard to predict, but generally it rains medium for about 2 hours per day, in the early afternoon. It really should not affect your plans. Try to schedule your outdoor activities for mornings and you'll be ok.
