Hane not heard much info on this hotel.
Am currently booked to stay there, but could changeit to some place like Sportsmens or Castillo. Is the Hemingway chica friendly? I get the impression that it is pretty close to all the action. Leaving for Costa Rica in one week on the 21 st of Mar.
Thanks for your input.

Bloom,

I have stayed at the Hemingway several times over the past few years. It is indeed close to the action. It is located directly beside the Hotel Castillo. As for being chica friendly.....I would say it is more "chica tolerant." When I stayed there, they charged a $10 chica fee. Keep in mind, the Hemingway is very much the type of hotel that attracts the "eco-tourists," and it is quite possible that should you bring a chica back to the hotel........ you will take the "walk of shame" in front of the other guests.

The price wasn't too bad, and the breakfast is "adequate." The rooms are antiquated.

If you need more info, let me know. :)

You could try the Amon. Bet they have a couple of rooms due to cancelations. Don't let the reports of sticky sheets, bugs and jacked-up prices deter you.

Check that advise (for the time being) on the Amon

I would change. The sportsman's is just around the corner. Much, much better choice.
The walk of shame vs. the club atmosphere and the electrocution style water heater shower heads make it a no brainer.
