You dont really need to bring it, Its legal in CR and avail over the counter at every drug store.
However yes you can bring it just like any other prescription med. in your name.

Post subject:  Bringing meds back to the States
The U.S. Embassy/Office of Consular Affairs recommends that anyone transporting prescription medications into/from the U.S. carry a list of prescriptions, printed on your doctor's stationery or prescription form, and showing the doctor's DEA number and telephone.

It is not legal to import medications into the U.S. for which you do not have a valid doctor's prescription, even if those medications are available OTC in Costa Rica. That being said, I've never had a problem.

As Orange suggests, bring empty prescription bottles (in your name) and put the pills you buy in C.R. into those. Otherwise, have a list of your meds, signed by your doc. This should help you avoid any problems at U.S. Customs.

As we know from the Rush Limbaugh case, Viagra is not legal for import without a prescription. :P :P :P :lol:

A local farmacia advertises in the Tico Times that tourists can take back a 90 day supply of prescription drugs. How accurate that info is I do not know but I certainly would think that is the maximum. If it is more it would not benefit them to say only 90 days but it certainly could be less than 90 as they want to sell the maximum they think you could get away with :lol: .

Aside from that, there should probably be some fine print that says "with a valid prescription". I'm sure it was just an oversight on the part of the paper. :roll: I would think that you can't bring back any medication without a prescription.

The 90 days w/ valid prescription does make sense since in the US you can only buy up to a 90-day supply of meds (with some exceptions). So they probably wouldn't allow you to bring in a year's worth, if the most you can buy in the US legally is 90 days worth.

Since that was covered in a previous post by El Ciego I did see the necessity to repeat it. If I inadvertently gave anyone the impression that you could bring back prescription drugs without a valid prescription I apologize. Mea Culpa :lol:

I got a stupid newbies question lol- I have no problem staying hard actually the problem is busting a nut too fast when im sober .do these meds help prolong or just give mad wood?? ive never taken them but may buy and try in CR . J

Brought back countless prescription drugs into the US and Canada. Biggest response Ive had was the guy grabbed some zitrhromax, looked at me, and laughed. I think its hard for alot of them to distinguish what is over the counter and what is prescription
