Iam making my virgin trip to costa rica during the first week of may. Iam staying at the del rey because the presidente was booked up? Heres my question what a good amount of spending cash not including the hotel.I dont plan on doing lots of gambling Iam arriving tuesday night and Iam leaving sunday I thinking 2000 is plenty but not sure? |

$2000 for 5 days and leaving on Sunday is fine. You could do like Dave on one of his trip reports like 5 girls in the same day at Zona Blue every day and then pick up a Del Rey girl every evening and still come back with money!!!! Have a great time read Ace's Tips for newbies and what to bring and some trip reports. Sammyboy

yes, and if you want to engage the company of a Del Rey little darling during the day and she will not budge or be reasonable, then just casually mention that you are going to the local MP, like Zona Blue or New Fantasy or even one of the low rent MPs. learn how to say $7 in spanish, 3500 colones. |

Yea that will be fine. Do not get drunk or gamble and after you have the urge burned off.[ Meaning your first couple nuts ] Then start doing MP's that are between 20 and forty dollars. Zona Blue opens at 9am till 9pm but the girls do not start arriving till about 11am. Idem opens at 3pm and closes at 12pm. The girls do not start arriving till about 5 to 6pm. Both places are 40 to 50 including tip. One full hour of massage and sex. both have a place to sit and order a drink while you learn the routeen. Get the map's and bar list. You can walk to both during light but you should take a cab after dark. Go out during the day and walk up and down ave central. It is safe. There is a gold Museum about 4 blocks away you can visit. Ask the desk at the del Ray. They have maps of all the touristy places and can arrange a day trip to a volcano or water falls. but you are not in CR for that so do not get side tracked. You will have a good time. |

Save your $7. Went there in February, it kind of sucks. I'm not a museum guy, but I thought I'd do something cultural (  ), but it was kind of dead. Been to other museums where you can play with stuff, not here. 
Btw, good place to take a Tica, they will enjoy learning more about their culture. Plus, for you cheapos, Ticos/Ticas get in free with their cedulas.

Gents, IMHO there are several factors that help determine the amount of chica cash you will go through on a CR trip. Yes there are the MPs were the prices are set and this can definitely help you stay within your budget restraints. Not everyone is crazy about the MPs ( over 1,000,000 proudly served ) and in the HDR at least you can pretend that the chica is new to this occupation. I love " THE HUNT " . To me that experience is somewhat degraded in the MPs. Do not get me wrong I still enjoy the MPs; Jenny is too cute, Michelle give great BBBJ and yes it is tough to beat the PSE of a threesome w/ Pamela & Karen. Yet despite all of this nothing compares to the thrill of the BM or KL when they are packed w/ chicas and I must sort, flirt and interview through them to find the GFE that I seek. In the HDR there is still a " club feeling " where the girl does the choosing too. Not near as much in the MPs. We all know that based on various factors; 1) your personal level of attractiveness 2) ability to speak spainish & communicate w/ the chicas 3) level of game you bring to the court 4) deal making ability All of these above things are going to factor in as far as how much money you spend but also how much GFE service you receive. Do you like TLN or threesomes ? Are you young looking to get your rocks off 3 or 4 times a day? One thing most of us can probably agree on is you are going to make newbie mistakes and spend more money on your virgin trip than you will on the INEVITABLE 2ND, 3RD & 4TH TRIPS. I know I did.
