I just stayed at the SL, which has installed mini bars. Beware that the prices of the items are really high ($9 for a Bristol's mini bottle). Moreover, I found that the chicas quickly go for the items, with or without permission. My mini bar charge was larger than my food and bar charge. |

That's why ya stash the stuff inside a cabinet, outta plain view before they come in. I had a whole tray of: smokes, condoms, candy bars.......... There should be a price list in the room somewhere. One look at the prices and you'll guard the stuff like it was gold. |

Nope! I've stayed in 6 different rooms in the new wing at the SL, and in every one of those rooms, the mini bar sits in plain sight. As soon as I get to the room, the 1st thing I do, before putting stuff in my safe, is hide the tray of goodies in one of the bottom dresser drawers. MG ![]() |

I did the same thing my 1st trip. I hid my tray in dresser drawer too. This time I will go to the super market also and get my gatorades, water, and snacks. All the girls always said, "can I get a pcak of cigarettes?" I said,"Hell no, I hate smoking." Some ticas would look at me like I was playing/joking and I would say, "Im serious". This a good post for newbies watch your fridge and tray when ticas are in your room. |

That is one of my biggest pet peeves when a Chica treats the mini bar like it's her own personal Minimart. I too learned to hide the mini bar contents. I don't mind them grabbing a drink afterward if they have provided really good service. But when they have a sense of entitlment attitude just because they accompanied you back to your room really ruins the whole experience. |

A raid on the bar can really cost. When a chica duo raided mine for about a minute, it cost me about $60. And it seems that they all feel entitled to help themselves. |

Raiding the mini bar would piss me off. If I go to the market and buy goodies for my chicas, what do you suggest? |

Mini Bars: I have never stayed at SL ( though I probably will someday ) I have talked to the guy who runs the place and several of the people that work there. This group is genuinely interested in the happiness of the people staying in their hotel. So if this minibar thing is a problem why don't you just ask them to put locks on them? It's not that hard to do the Del Rey has them. Lee |

I've never stayed at the Sportsmen's, though I've been there quite a few times. Knowing how the chicas are [I've had them take toiletries in the past] there does seem to be the potential for them running up a huge expense. I would certainly be concerned about it. Some sort of locking device does seem to be in order here. Zebra |

Just up the hill from the SL, towards the hospital, there is a little grocery store that would probably have all of the above, and more. |

I agree with the above, Hide the tray of goodies. I just set it on top of one of the cabnets and never had a poblem. The girls didn't seem to be interested in the drinks. I don't like to have it locked because I like to be able to stick some of my own drinks in there. Some other advise I can give you is don't use the laundry service at the SL. A small load that would have easly fit in any machine here in the US was $26 at the SL ![]() Have fun, Win |
