to CR in Feb. I have lived in the Philippines, BKK and have been going to TJ for 5 yrs. TJ is getting old and I don't have the patience anymore to spend 17 hrs in the air going to AC or BKK. Is SJO worth going to?? If so how much are the girls and where is the best, most convienient place to stay? I'm not looking for a GF, I just want a puta or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5........Whats a TICA. Same as puta??? I speak no spanish just fucky, fucky and sucky, sucky. Airfare isn't an issue as I have enough FF miles to go around the world 3 times. I go to TJ monthly for three nights spending 4 or 5 hundred USD and have a great time. Usually lay 3 or 4 putas, buy ficha drinks, and drink large quantities Don Julio and Tecate. Tica is a what a native Costa Rican woman is called, it has nothing to do with being a puta. (A Nica is Nicaraguan.) The center of the action is the Hotel Del Rey (HDR). I would recommend staying there, but there is a $10 "guest" fee for each girl you take up to your room. Check their website: http://www.delreyhotel.com The girls there are independents so you negotiate the price with them. You don't have to speak Spanish, most know enough English to do business. The average price would be about $75/hr. Keep in mind, most will start negotiations at $100/hr or more. A TLN (all-nighter) will cost you $100-500, depending on how rich or dumb you are. There also many massage parlors (aka brothels). They charge a fixed price for either a half or 1 hour. They range from $8-$47.
