Call me dumb, but when I first heard that question from every chica at the Del Rey as about the second thing after "What's your name?" I got pissed and would not answer. Finally I got the explanation from one of them. They are simply trying to find out whether you are staying in a chica-friendly place that allows "guests" and whether or not there are dress restrictions (such as at El Presidente). So don't be offended - they are not judging how wealthy you are or even how far they have to taxi - just whether or not they can get into your room. shyguy |

...and did you ever notice how their eyes "light up" when they ask you which hotel you're staying at, and then you answer "aqui" ?!?!?!?! Right away, the wheels in their head start turning, as they're already trying to figure out how quick they can get you up to the room, and then get back to their seat at the bar, looking for their next "muy rico" gringo. Damn, ya gotta love those chicas! ![]() MG ![]() |

Damn fellas, ya'll are absolutely bursting my bubble. I was totally convinced that the chicas were hoping I was staying "on site" because they were totally turned on by the combination of my rugged good looks, southern charm and the great smell of brut. Now according to MG I guess Im going to have to rethink things. Rainman3 ___________ "The only gambling I do in the gulch is when I go down south" |

Want to blow her mind when she asks where you're staying? Tell her any of the following hotels: Hotel Asia Hotel Rex Hotel Nuevo Johnson These are $10.00/night hotels, so you know she'll be impressed with your frugality. |

I.D.! ![]() ![]() Actually, I've been told by guys who have stayed at the Asia and Nuevo Johnson that working girls from out of town occasionally stay at one of the aforementioned $10.00/night places, perhaps a chance for social networking? (These hotels also offer inside rooms, shared bath, no windows) for$40.00/week; affordable for even the lowest earner. |

I can say from experience that the Nuevo johnson room has private showers and windows. On the extra side the walls are made of cardboard and u can slightly shift them to the side and peek on the girl in the next room getting undressed. The NJ is my favorite shithole |
