I hate to keep asking what I know are dumb questions but I want to be fully prepared for first trip in four weeks. I know the Key Largo is on the Del Rey premises but seperate. Is there a safety issue in the walk?

Nope,,But you will be hassled by street vendors..there is usually no problem walking across. They won't follow you past the street, usually.

The only problem you will have is getting DarkLighter away from buying everyone yeager bombs when the taxi is waiting. :lol:

I always keep a few thousand colones available to have my blood pressure checked before I go over to KL :roll: Helps me decide how young I should go for the next one Also like to pay top dollar for Castro's favorite so I can act like a HighRoller as I enter the KL, really impresses the Columbianas. Also, a few colones for the 11 yr boy that has nothing to sell but just asks you for $. :lol:

Just ignore the poachers and stroll across the street.
