Whyd do all the Colombian and Nicaraguan girls travel to Costa Rica for this job? I was just in Hong Kong and met at least a dozen Venezuelan/Colombian chicas working the bars there.

I think that for many girls, it's because they come from small towns and don't want any friends or family to know what they do to make a living.

Also, while prostitution is legal and tolerated throughout Centra and South America, C.R. is the closest travel destination for North Americans which feels both safe and to be a good value. Short travel time from Florida and Texas help ensure a steady stream of gringobucks into Costa Rica, and the girls go where the money is. Pretty tough to earn the high profits in Barranquilla or Manisales.

Finally, while there are no whorehouses in Costa Rica (by law), it can be argued that the del Rey is the largest single center of prostitution in Central America; it's famous throughout the Spanish-speaking world, the girls know about it and about the dollars they can earn there.

Just my opinion... and yes, Costa Rica is indeed a special place.

If you have no money you go to the destination where there is someone who is willing to pay for your ticket. Yes you do not get to keep all of the profits but you are making some money. If you have just a little money you go to San Jose.

First, say them chicas have light skin, they can command mas dinero or HKD over there, and more if they have or dyed their hair blonde. A fact.

Second, much safer place to be in. Good shopping and shit, you know , women stuff, they love that.

Third, they can hit Macau or even do Japan. I had a blonde Colombiana in Macau before, and have seen a pretty 9 from Brazil. If they are not fugly and light skinned, Asia is good for biz so to speak.

Only draw back for them, they better speak at least un poco inglese, and phone call to home is expensive.
