I've never been to Costa Rica. Is there any specific type of music or specific artists that Chica's seem to really enjoy? Romantic mood music to be more specific. I know tastes vary greatly and YMMV but I don't have a clue and was hoping to get some suggestions. Thanks! Mickiy D

MickyD, Send a PM to Muffdiver. Earlier this year, he burned a couple CD's with lots of great Latina music, Salsa, Reggaeton, etc. I'm sure that (if he's not too busy) he'll PM you a list of popular tunes that the chica's love! But you better do it quick. He's leaving for CR real soon! And, if that doesn't work, plug in some Metallica or Eminem. The chica's love it!

Mick - when i was at the KL one night and about to leave with the chica, the band played a song called "Mariposa De Amor" and all the chicas went nuts. |

Muff Divers CDs are excellent. A couple other singers popular with las chicas latinas are Juanes, a Colombian whose songs are sometimes a little too rock oriented for my taste but other times can be pretty heart felt, and Joan Sebastian (I know it looks like a woman's name but it's pronounced Jó-ahn) a Mexican Tejeno singer. I haven't had a chance to try them out in CR yet but a couple of latinas I know at home (both of whom unfortunately profess to be happily married and are off limits at least for now  ) go gaga over the collection of their songs I am arranging in preparation for my next visit.
