I'm a newbie, want to make a trip during the thankgiving holiday. My plans are to stay 1-2 nights at DR just to get a taste for San Jose, however, I Iwould then like to head out to Jaco Beach for a few days. Can I find quality Chicas in Jaco? Do I need to bring my own from SJ? Whays a good price for a 3-4 day adventure? I'd prefer a good beach hotel with a quality chica than finding last resorts at the JB.

Jaco has some good looking girls (mostly in the evenings at the Beatle Bar), but the consensus is that it's now $100/hr for 99% of the girls. If you find somebody in SJ that you connect with, and she's willing to go away with you, she will ask for $150-250/day, which will add up over 3-4 days.

Most of the other beach towns are hit or miss but Jaco has some lookers.

I've just returned from Jaco....great time.
I would say that the ratio was at least 10 girls to 1 guy from about 8pm to 11pm at the BB. Monkey Bar was dead. Several beauties to choose from. The highest I paid was $80 for 1 hour that lasted close to 2.
I'm waiting for my pictures before I write a trip report. You can't go wrong with Juliette (Columbian brunette) or Marti (Columbian blonde).
They will do doubles for $80 each for 2 hours. They are always in the BB together around 9pm.

There are plenty of girls in Jaco. Though they are hard to find in the day time. Lots of girls in the BB and MB at night. If your looking for some daytime action I would get some #'s at night and set up somthing for the next day. I have never paid $100 in Jaco. Though it has been almost a year since my last visit. Prices seem to be a little bit more negotable at the MB than the BB. Have Fun

How far is jaco from san Jose and what direction is it.Also what are some good hotels that you guys have staid in on the beach that you can bring chicas to Iam considering going there as well as San Jose cause I enjoy the beach as well as mongering.

Also what is the best and cheapest way to get there.

I know some of this has been disscussed before and I will look into in this site farther I just curious on some more recent info.

Jaco is about a 3 hour trip by car. The road gets rough in some spots. The weather is hot and humid. Most folks I speak to (IMO) that made the trak to Jaco vow to never do it again.

Jaco is very hot and humid. That's the worst thing about it for me. It's a little town (if you wanna call 1 long strip a town). There are a lot of places to eat and drink, many surf shops, a bunch of gift shops to buy souvenir junk and t-shirts. I'd recommend checking it for a night or two, but I wouldn't plan on spending a whole trip there.

Speaking of Jaco... I will be there with my girl on Friday, Nov. 24th about noon, leaving Saturday morning. Anybody wanna get a drink? I think we're staying at Cocal, if they ever get back to me or answer their phones.

The way I see it, if sex is what you want in CR, then go to and stay in San Jose. If you want surfing and sex, or are a beach bum, then go to Jaco-Playa Hermosa. There is no point in going from SJ to Jaco just to get laid, there are far more options in SJ--unless you have a novia, semi-novia, or a maybe a regular that you always see on every CR trip, basically a girl that you've established some kind of connection/relationship with that you can take with you to the beach.
