Post subject:  Virgin trip
I'm going to CR for 2 weeks Surfing and doin yoga, and I have one night at the end scheduled for a taste of San Jose. Only bout 24 hours. (I just want to get a taste of the SJ scene this trip, I'll visit much longer next time, I am sure.). I'm staying a SL. I thought I'd take a tour of BM early Sat eve, and try to get a chica or two for that evening. Then check out Zona during the day on Sunday. Then leave to go back home hopefully with a smile on my face. Any advice, given the brevity of my trip in SJ. Are Saturday nite's nuts?

Two weeks in CR and only the last 24 hours in SJ. You are going to be mad at yourself for not spending at least 3 days in the gulch. Costa Rica is a beautiful country I did not spend my whole trip in SJ but 24 hours????

Welcome to the board.

I'm sure that you'll have a great time at the beach, surfing and doing yoga, but I have to agree with ChiTownGino. 24 hours in SJO? ....And at the very END of your trip???

Here's a suggestion.
Since you're going to be in CR for 2 full weeks, why not try SJO on your 1st night, and then go to the beach (if you're still walking)! This way, you'll get a 'taste' of the SJO scene, and you'll have the option of staying in SJO another day or two, or possibly coming back to SJO for a couple days at the end of your trip.

Just a suggestion, but I think if you wait until your last night to experience the gulch, you'll end up kicking your own a$$ for not staying there a little more during your 2 weeks in CR. And, by that time, it's too late. It'll be time to get on that big bird to fly home. Think about it..... :roll:

Oliver,

I think the anticipation of the last 24 hours of your trip is going to have a psychological effect on the first 13 days of your trip. You'll be on pins and needles the whole time just thinking about it.
