Hi all,


I´m going to be in San Jose from the 18th to the 22nd. This will be my first time in San Jose, or paying a girl for sex. (Though I´m sure I paid for it with girlfriends at home as well.)

Is anybody going to be there around the same time who wants to meet up for a drink? I´ve read some of the posts here, but really don´t know what to expect still.

Welcome to the board. Without your CRT VIP Membership, you're going to be limited as to what you can read on this site. I assume you meant the 18th of May. If so, it's only a couple days away. You might consider a membership, which will help you access more information, photo's, etc. Plus it'll give you discounts at numerous places in CR. You can always pick up your membership card at ZB (Zona Blue) when you get into town.

If you don't know what to expect, then you need to keep reading! It'll all fall into place, once you get there. Knowledge is power. Keep reading.

Welcome to the board. Since you are double virgin to CR and to mongering: I will echo Mucho Gusto's advice: Read. And read. Then read. After that, read some more. You should spend at least 20 hours reading the board before your first trip.

There is so much good advice & humor in this board; it will save you time. money, and heartache.

One last thing please read as much as you can :lol:

We could all share stories of newbies who made mistakes easily prevented by reading the forums.

Welcome Gator.


The information you've already gotten is good advice. I can't tell you how much you becoming a VIP member will mean to you. Depending on where you stay this time it will pay for itself in one trip. If you go back you will be saving money you can spend on Chica's. I know it's short notice but the only other advice I haven't seen yet is learn as much Spanish as you can.


I'll be ther the 24th. so I'll miss you this trip but once you see for yourself what's going on down there I'm sure we will meet up sometime.

Thanks for all the advice.

I ended up getting stuck in Managua for another night so will be getting into San Jose tomorrow afternoon. I will have some time tonight to read up on things though.

I am probably different than most of the people who come here in that I have been backpacking Central America for the last three months. I took some Spanish classes and I speak enough Spanish to get by, though it really is not enough for me to talk to the local girls.

This is something I have wanted to try for awhile though, so I purposefully set aside money for these last few days. I figure it will be a good way to end my trip.


I would like to get a membership, but I am fairly skeptical of using my credit card on the computers here. I am worried about programs on the computer that can be used to store informatin. Is there a way I can just go and buy a card in person somewhere in San Jose?

Look for Admin 1 and pm him. He has all the answers about that.

And yes there is a scam going on down there where even ATM's double read your card. That is also discussed on this board.

As far as mongering. Go to San Jose, And get a hotel that does not have a fee each time you bring a girl in. Then go to the Hotel Del Ray. You won't be a virgin for long.
