Hi all, My name is Charles and I am new to the board. I live in England, UK and I am 53 yrs old (will be 54 in 2 days) I want to travel this summer to Costa Rica for some non-pro action, maybe even getting a girlfriend. I haven't been to any LAm country before but I hear that older guys have some good sucess with younger ladies down there. I'm not in too bad shape ( I have a bit of a belly) but I speak exceptional spanish and portuguese since I used to work in Madrid and Lisbon. Is my age going to be a problem in Costa Rica if I wanted to land a 23+ year old? look foward to getting some replies. regards charles |

LatinaHunter, I'll keep it short and sweet. If you are a gentleman, you should have NO problems..... Mikey-B |

And if you have a fat wallet, you'll have even less of a problem (with non-pros as well)... |

Your ability to be able to communicate with chicas will overcome any disadvantage of age or a bit of a belly. They are not a serious drawback under most circumstances anyway. Stop chicas on the street ask directions or a recommendation of a place to eat, etc. Chat them up for a few minutes ask them if they would like to join you for a cup of coffee and you will be surprised how many will accept, Do the same with sales clerks in the stores. Your language skills give you a huge advantage. |

Thanks. I feel alot better knowing that my age isn't a big factor in Latin America. Unlike here in England and the US |

My only suggestion would be to raise your age level to around 30-35. Most 23-year-old latinas are going to be a little immature for you (I'm 52). They might be fun for a night or two but I think you'll get bored quickly with them. It will be similar to raising a teenager. Also be forewarned that a large percentage of girls over the age of 18 will already have a K*D or two. Best of luck in your search. |

I have yet to find a chica without a k*d. Is that the impossible dreaM? |

Not all of them, mainly the poor ones with somewhat disfuntional families. Ones from good families with enough money are not generally like this & are not for sale either. YMMV |
