Medellin would be a good starting point. Study up on all the info furnished in this forum. The Mansion
is most likely the best place to stay with limited Spanish. Find a sidekick that speaks Spanish and venture out from there. Bogota I do not recommend due to weather and altitude. One thing about going to the casas the price will be much less. Also the Facebook connection will get you some GFE chicas. Learn all you can and take notes. It will take all your effort to get the 10's you want. Good Luck!

Rosetta Stone it is

Rosetta Stone is a good tool especially for grammar and vocabulary but it takes a long time to develop practical, every day conversational Spanish if that is all you use. To me nothing is better than a good Spanish tutor (native speaker - PM me if you want a referral to my tutor, she is a professor from Medellin and highly recommended).

I myself gained very good proficiency in less than a year of study using the following in combination:

- private lessons
- Rosetta Stone
- Vocabulary and Phrase flash cards

And last but certainly not least, a couple of Colombiana girlfriends, aka my "dictionaries with legs" who really helped me get "immersed" in the language.

I have something amazing to tell. I was recently in Costa Rica and the age old question are the Girls of the Tica of the month available. Ordinarily I would say no. But I actually have recently met an established a relationship with one of them. She is educated , has a decent job and does modeling and event promotions. She was in the Gallery in one of the past three years. I met her through an introduction from a friend. He told me she was married an unavailable. I just happened to hit it off with her and said if she was not married I would like to take her out. She said I'm not married and she would love to go out with me. Things have progressed further and she really is a sweet chica. So when you least expect it "a blind hog finds an acorn some times" ! I guess after 10 trips to Costa Rica you might run across one of these Chicas. She is smokin hot! And no it is not Karen.lol

It seems these girls are some of the best lookers there. Has anyone successfully pulled them? Any tactics? $$ or no $$?



I went to the hooters in Escazu on a Thursday night in march and the girls had nice bodies but the faces were rough.I was underwhelmed .

Go back and read Coolguy's posts in this thread - but know this - the guy has $$$ and is not afraid to spend it - he operates in a different playpen than most.

It could be me, but with all the pretty women in CR, why someone would waste their time (and likely money) with a Hooters Girl is beyond me - then again if you want to start a loooooong thread, post about banging DelRey bartenders

In a sea of beautiful women, it makes no sense to me to put any of them on a pedestal until they prove to be more than just eye candy.

I have always wondered how much does a Chica working the gulch makes per month?

I have read two extremes, a stunner going home empty handed at the end of her "work hours"
and a stunner going to the rooms five times in a short period of time.

So what is the average take-home for a chica? I am assuming that none of them is on W-2 or pays taxes on their wages

Gosh, when you're able to do that, think of all the $$$ you'll save, put on a dark haired wig, eyeliner, makeup and lipstick, turn on a porn movie with a girl moaning, and watch yourself blow yourself in the mirror, you'll never have to pay for p again !!!

Only one problem, once you're good at it, no chica will be ever able to do it as good as you can, it's like wakkking it, nobody can do it as well as yourself...

As an accountant, I can assure you they don't need W-2's in Costa Rica, if you brought one to the USA, you could issue a 1099 to her as an independent contractor/entertainer earning income in the U.S., then call me, I'll configure expenses and deductions for her for condoms, birth control, push up bras, red lipstick, etc.
