Personally, I enjoy listening to the more experienced crowd actively discussing their 'methods' and likes/dislikes in forum. I learn a hell of a lot about the scene of old, and it gives me much to think about.

I also think it's cool that members do what they can to remain dispassionate in their responses.

I am still in embryonic development of a personal 'mongering method' ... but once complete, it won't look anything like Scubas, Nets, BangBangs, or anyone else's. It'll be mine, and I'll patent it.

I will also extol it daily upon the board ... and bore you all to death!

Let's see now, I'm getting on in years and my memory isn't what it used to be, certainly not as good as BangBang's, but I do recall telling a youthful first timer before his first trip..."Don't go walking around at night by yourself, and CERTAINLY don't go walking in the park at night!!! I might even have proof of that timely advice in one of my emails...Sigh...youth of today just don't listen !!!

... it was more of a stroll, actually. I meet some very interesting people late at night in the parks.

What I could really have used was a "do not fall asleep on park benches in the early hours of the morning, outside of a church getting ready to host some outside Mass for schoolchildren!" email! Now THAT ... would have come in handy before the handcuffs came out.

Also, a "do not bring stuff to BangBang" email would have kept me from a near 'smuggling' arrest at the airport last trip... not to mention that embarrassing pat-down in the park over the bloody meat cleaver!

Costa Rican authorities have very little sense of humor.

I'm glad you are taking my advice in the spirit its offered - just trying to help out, and offer someone who's posts I like another POV

I have some friends - they have been going to CR longer than I, almost 20 years - and what do they know; what's their "go to" place - yup, the HDR Many guys are that way - but unless they experience what out there - and I don't just mean the gringo MP's - they are missing what could be a better experience for them.

OTOH, I think hooking up with BB57 is a great idea - I can't tell you how much he has helped me over the years, especially the first time we met and did a walk/tour - and at the time I had many trips over 10 years, and thought I had a good handle on the scene - so by all means do it - he's a great guy, although if you think I have strong opinions..........

But we ALL know that young people today don't listen (hell they said that same thing when I was young). But they do learn from "experience"! BD, look at all the "lessons" you have learned (the hard way) and will never forget!!!! Some day you will thank us!! NOT

With all due respect Scuba1 - I appreciate the implied compliment, but there's no way BB57 and I should be in the same paragraph when it comes to CR mongering experience...

While the rest of us struggle to climb the ever changing Mount Monger, BB is already at the top kindly pointing out the easiest paths to the summit.

Thanks to you guys for the compliments-not at all sure they are deserved!! The biggest difference in me and in a lot of others is

(1) I have been at this game we call mongering for more years than a lot of guys on CRT today have been alive. 52 years since my first trip out of the USA, and I had been chasing pu*sy, Pro and non pro, for a long time before then.

(2) I have made a lot of mistakes during those years and had to learn the hard way. There was no one to tell me what to do and not do; there was no internet for likeminded souls to share info on; and there was no CRT until the last 10 years.

(3) There are a lot of guys out there just as knowledgeable and many even more so. Problem is many are reluctant to share their knowledge for one reason or another. Some justifiable reasons, some not so much!!! Me, I never seem to know when to "shut the Phuck up"

I was taught (by my parents) to always help others if possible, and I have a very strong belief in the phrase "SHARE THE KNOWLEDGE!!!!! I may not always be right and I certainly may not always do things the right way nor even the best way, but I do try!!! And all joking aside, the older I get the more opinionated and outspoken I get

Now back to the topic of HDR QUALITY!!!

Quality?? what Quality Just kidding !! I did ONCE see a beautiful chica in the HDR! Spent 6 nights (of a 7 night trip) trying to talk her off the dreaded "cien". Could not get her below $80 which was still more than I had/have since ever paid in CR or any Latin country!! The last night I caved!! and till this day (this happened about 10 years ago) that was unquestionable the worst piece of ass I ever had in my life!!! Now don't get me wrong, I do not care what anyone else pays as long as it makes you happy and you get what you want for the dollars. I have always said--"The more others pay the less money she needs and there fore the less I have to pay her for the same service!!!" Now that sounds good in theory but it (sadly) does not always work that way especially with the hardcore HDR chicas!!

Is the HDR the "go to place for everyone? NO! Should it be the only place ANYONE goes to while here? There are some who would say yes, and they are perfectly happy with what they "do" know and what they "don't " know!! If it rocks their boat and they have what, for them, is the best time possible (in their minds) more power to them. BUT if one wants to experience the "real" world of mongering in CR, one MUST venture out of the HDR. The HDR has a lot to offer especially for the novice and inexperienced !! It has a lot to offer to the guy(s) who have the money and do not mind spending it!! It is great for the guy who comes here , speaks no Spanish, and is scared of his own shadow!!! It is entertaining and fun even for us old, experienced guys!! BUT there is so much more out there to be explored and discovered!!!! It really is a shame when guys come here 10-15, or more times and every time they get out of the airport taxi in front of the HDR, they walk in, and a week later they walk out of the HDR, and get in a taxi for the airport. There is no one who likes pu*sy more than BB57, there are few who have spent more hours pursuing the proverbial "perfect 10 in bed" than BB57, but thank God I am not totally "one dimensional" and have a burning desire to explore!!!!!!!!!!

Is the HDR a 5 star hotel? Not even close! Hell is there a 0 star classification The one thing I have always found very funny is the guys who will not session in a MP for fear of lying down in someone else's "leche"! but they will sleep every night on a mattress that is probably so C*m soaked from a thousand sessions that the mattress weighs an additional 100 lbs . At least in the MPs most have plastic or vinyl covered mattress and when they change the sheet they get rid of the C*m, but in the HDR all the C*m just soaks into the mattress over night!! UGGGGGGG!! How many of you guys have ever thought of that when you knock the MPs?????

And lastly (I promise to shut the pluck up after this) is the HDR full of 9s and 10s? NOT EVEN CLOSE!! ARE there ANY 10s in the HDR? Matter of opinion as to what constitutes a "10"!! I do not think anyone who has ever been to Colombia will say there are 10s in the HDR! Guys who have never seen anything but Gringas before will see a house full of "10s" My scale is much harsher than many! I spent a lot of time in "all" of Colombia (especially Bogota) for 3 years. I was married to a beautiful Calina! By my scale, I have NEVER seen a 10 'working' chica in Costa Rica and certainly not in the HDR. Hell in the HDR, I have only seen maybe 2 or 3 in 20 years who I would consider a 9!!!!

I wondered if those massage tables were still at Oasis I haven't been there in a long time now. I remember going there for the first time around 2002. I specifically asked for a chica that I had seen in a couple of photos (must have been on the 'old' CRS board). It was around noon, and the guy said that she wasn't there, but he could call her. Damn, now you have asked the most impossible question to answer there is!! As I have said many, many times, these chicas change work place as often as we change our underwear!! Hell many may even work in more than one place in a day! Many work in a MP during the day, then in the HDR or SL or a Tico Bar or strip club at night. What is the best place to find the chicas you are looking for today may be totally a waste of time tomorrow. AND, more important-NO 2 guys have the same likes, tastes, needs, desires, nor (and very important) the same experience. And 2nd in importance -no chica is EVER going to treat 2 different guys exactly the same.

Many guys are only interested in depositing their leche in the hottest looking chica they can find with no concern as to how she treats him, how good she really is in bed, nor how much he has to pay her just to get her (in many cases) to pluck his fat, ugly, old ass!!! They seem to think that gives them something to brag about forgetting they PAID her to pluck them; that she did not do it because she found him irresistible or even remotely wanted to pluck him other than for his money!! Others are only interested in depositing as much leche in as many different receptacles and in the shortest length of time as is possible with not much concern as to quality nor attitude nor service. Others are more interested in how she treats him, how she pleases him, how she makes him feel when he is with her. These are also the guys many experienced chicas are looking for-the guy who all too often wants to find the perfect chica and fall in love, forgetting "Never look for love in a whorehouse"; the guy who she can "take to the cleaners before he knows what has happened!!

Where on any given day will you find all these different kinds of chicas? In the HDR? Yes! In the SL? Yes! in many of the MPs? Yes! Night clubs? bars? Yes, Yes, Yes!! All of this rambling is just to enforce what I said earlier. Get out and explore; look in all possible places for the ultimate experience, don't settle for what is passable when in the next place may be the the best experience of your life!!

What I consider the 5 best sexual experiences of my life and where I found them:

1- the sister of my favorite at the time!! She was not a puta (at the time) and came to my house to talk!!! Favorita did not know till much later! She became the favorite and alltime best of many guys though she only worked 3 months in the SL before moving to the States.

2--the favorita sister of the #1. Met her in a low rent MP, Sweet, young, nieve,and beautiful. Then she moved to the SL and has become one of the alltime most hard core putas ever in CR. But according to a good friend she is still "the best he has had"!!
3--A HDR (actually Key Largo) chica who actually was a lesbian but knew how to please a man like few others. Has been out of the business and living with her girlfriend for several years!

4-- A Colombiana who worked at the old Zona Blue and then at SL and is now in the States.

5-- Another Colombiana who worked in a very low rent MP and though she was very attractive and highly skilled in the art of making love, she lacked the self confidance to work in the HDR or any other independent place, or even in an upscale MP!! Is now a nurse and no longer in the business

My Colombiana ex wife would actually be #2 or #3 but since she was not a "working chica" and was never in CR, I left her out!!! As you can see from this list, diversity of places you look can and does pay off. If I had never pulled a chica from any place other than the HDR, I would have only been with one of the five!!!!

In short, the "best" in Costa Rica is where you happen to find her at the moment. Hell I even talked to one of the all time most popular and best in bed chicas just today in one of the "bottom of the barrel" 6th street places!! She has recently worked in the 2 most popular MPs in SJ. She is young, she is a flaca, she is hot, she is fantastic in bed, she is known for giving one of the best BBBJs of all the chicas, and she has a great personality!! You may ask why, if she is all that, would I find her in a place where you can get 20 minutes of full service for $14? Safety, money (she gets $10 a session and she can often do 15 a day, every day, plus tips), highly unlikely to be seen by her family, and the place where she is now is clean (they have a maid that cleans the rooms between each session) and the "boss" treats the chicas good and with respect!!!

I know I did not really answer your "impossible to answer" question but the answer is, you will find the best wherever you find the chica you are looking for!!!
