what we do here is just a HOBBY like collecting coins, blackjack, skydiving, playing the stock market, white water rafting, jerking off to porn, working out, motorcycle riding, photography, cooking, going to the movies, playing video games, genealogy, skiing, restoring vintage autos, downloading music, history etc etc etc etc etc...

Yeah it's addictive... but are we happy?

The happiest guys I know are in this hobby.

On the history note...

After my 2nd trip,and as a green noooobie, not long before ChiTownGino started this thread, I posted my first trip report. On that thread I believe was where MG wrote ..."Now you're phucked for life". Having had all of 21 days experience in the game at that moment of time I had no concept of what he meant, other than a gut feeling that something substantial had happened that knocked me off my then-current trajectory. I sure as shit know now.

Negative Gypsy !!! I'm almost 59 and have been a happy unapologetic monger since my first CR trip 10 years ago !!! I visit CR 2x a year, lived here 2 years from 2007 to 2009 and plan on retiring to CR 3 years from now. I currently keep a hot 20 year old Puerto Rican "sugarbaby" who also cleans my house while I am suffering here in the states.

I'm sorry, I can't look at a woman in her 50's and get turned on. I know some ladies that age who are quite attractive "for their age" and I like them and respect them, I just don't want to see their stuff hit the floor when the clothes come off. I see furry little creatures scamper when they see their feet that resemble eagles talons...

Steven, if that's how you feel I can have you talk with 4 of my friends who gave up "the life" but 2 married ticas and 2 married Colombians. These women weren't 20 somethings but more mature women in their 30's who still look stunning, were loving and fun and appreciative. I met them all and can testify to this. These guys are exceedingly happy and have loving fulfilling relationships with these women. You sound like you know about psychology. Psychologists report an older man with a younger wife is more happy, more energetic, lives longer etc., etc.

C'mon guys, this site is like AA or NA, don't let him go back to demanding, unappreciative money grubbing wrinkled old gringa bags under the influence of Oprah ! Let's talk him down, we owe it to our CRT brother !!!!
