Well I'm a newbie here.. I have the option of going to either punta cana or Costa Rica..
I would love some advice on which destination would be better for quality of chicas.
Also if I where to head to Costa Rica, should I stay in sj or jako. I plan on posting my trip. August 22nd to 28. Any advice would be great....

I don't know anything about Punta Cana, but if you stay in San Jose in the ''Gulch" area at the Del Rey, Sportsman's Lodge, or any of the other local hotels advertised here you are in walking distance of well over 1/2 dozen MP's and the lobbies and bar areas of Del Rey and Sportsman's, typically a couple hundred putas at all times in the evening, expanding even more so on the weekends, so much so your frustration will be trying to pick one. Even in the day time you might have 100 or more to choose from. You can get recommendations here on different girls in MP's and come armed with their names and see for yourself.

There's cute and sexy little senoritas ranging from as low as $50 to women who could enter Miss Universe asking and getting $100. many speak English but if they don't we seem to be able to communicate what we want and get it...

Lot's of great restaurants, and you can announce here when you will arrive and where you are staying and you could have 1/2 dozen or more new friends you can hang with contact you, many with plenty of experience who can show you around, and you can constantly seek advice and get questions answered from members on this board when you're down here...

I just wanted to stop by and say thanks for the feedback about staying in touch. Really helped me out and hopefully you can give me a bit more advice.

After staying in touch with one tica i plan to see her when i go back in a few weeks and probably do more of a longer date since we had fun the last time. My only question is what is normal to pay if she's staying with me for 3 or 4 hours instead of the standard 1? Is it the same as paying her the rate of 1 hour 3 times? I don't want to end up over paying but also don't want to cut her short if we end up having a good time. Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks

I just got back from a 4 day vaca in San Jose ! 2 of my favorites who I stay in touch with and have been with several times over the years gave me 3 hour sessions (for cien) that surprised me, I didn't request it up front, they either really like me or are smart giving extra to a long term client, if you get to know some of these girls like human beings instead of just ho's passing through the night (or the Del Rey) you will get rewarded.

I didn't pay any extra and it appeared they didn't want and didn't ask for more, course I paid cien. If you're paying less than cien, good for you, I wouldn't offer more than cien, and i certainly wouldn't take the hourly rate and multiply it, since we don't know what you're paying, I'd start off with cien for 3 hours and see what she says, if she wants $300, you're getting screwed, many girls here will spend the night for $100 to $200 max.

First off, you should NOT pay 3-4 times the going rate. That would mean $300-400 which is ridiculously excessive for a few hours. You can get an all-nighter for less.

You will get varying opinions. Do what you feel is right. This is my opinion. For a longer date, I would say offer no more than $140 for 3-4 hours. I think many chicas would accept that, especially if they know they will have a good time. Plan to go out for dinner or something, instead of just hours and hours of phucking.

Also, if you request a longer date then you should definitely offer more money, but if book her for an hour and she chooses to stay longer, then it's up to you if you want to pay more, I'd say a tip ($20) is enough.

Orange, your info and advice was the most thorough, most comprehensive and thorough advice laden description and series of tips and info I have ever seen, I wouldn't be surprised if one of these guys who makes money doing this plagiarizes you, every newbie and perhaps a few elders should print this out and hand carry it on their trip to CR.

I do disagree with one of your "facts" however...

Now a lot of guys have legit beefs with the Del Rey. here are some of them; I have heard tales of bartenders and waitresses padding the tabs, I never experienced it but enough guys complained so there may be some truth to it. The thugs n mugs n beggars n moochers n hawkers hanging around and hounding you as you come in and out of the hotel . The pawing and catcalling from the less than desirable chicas. The large and crowded impersonal atmosphere. High propensity of chicas demanding cien, many no where near worth it. The $11 chica visit fee, although the rooms are $55 and if you get one MP girl in the daytime and only bring one a day up it's not so bad and still cheaper than some boutique hotels. As it is in a noisy busy part of downtown, it can be loud and you can be woken up in the middle of the night by all kinds of noise.

I think I've covered most if not all of the legit complaints of the HDR, but I must defend my home away from home as far as the rooms go. I've been coming 10 years and my experience is the rooms are large, clean, comfortable, excellent a/c, safe, bathrooms, tv, wifi and superb maid service, tip them a little and they load you up with towels. Granted the rooms are "old style" and resemble a Hotel 6 or Howard Johnson as far as looks go, but most of us don't come here looking for elegant accoutrements, if anyone does, Dunn Inn has some very elegant and modern rooms for those with discerning tastes, as does the Presidente which I believe they even discontinued their policy of accepting fashionably attired courtesans.

My complaint is a lot of old timers who have bones to pick with the Del Rey announce here on this board that it is the worst hell hole in the universe with no legitimate explanation and many new guys coming here who rely on CRT advice end up going to a different hotel and may have had a ball at the HDR. I talk to a lot of guys who stay at HDR when I am visiting, some are CRT readers and or members and they, like me, enjoy the benefits of being there, the constant access to poon tang, the constant visual of the cascade of sexy chicas parading around, the ability to snag one for the evening and no need to run around late at night outside. I get a lot of PM's from guys who are afraid of being chastised on this board who tell me they love being in the belly of the beast like I do.

So there you have it, I stood up for my old alma mater, I listed the true legit complaints, if these things bother a newbie or oldie, don't come here, but if they are considered minor irritants, you can be in the center of the action and pick up numerous GFE's if you take the time to pick right and have patience. I just returned from a 4 day trip and scored on some incredible stunning GFE providing beauties I found there, one I added to my fave list and added her as a friend on fb, she was tall, beautiful, and delivered two hour sessions with me twice without asking . By the way, my 2 personal fave's, one I know 10 years and another 5 years who both delivered fabulous 3 hour sessions for a mere cien without asking....both met at the Rey !!!

Quick question that after many hours of reading I have read conflicting answers :

MPs can they be paid in USD or only local currency ??? I have read only local but then when prices are mentioned in the posts they refer to USD price. Thanks for all the help !!!

All Tico MPs prefer dollars and if they will accept Dollars at all, they will give you a very low exchange rate. The 2 Gringo owned MPs (Scores and Zona2) will accept dollars and since their prices are expressed in dollars there is no exchange rate to worry about!!

What I always tell guys when asked about which is best to use is "When in Rome------!" If you were from here and walked into a Walmart in the states would you expect them to gladly accept colones?? I live here and the ONLY thing I pay in dollars is my rent and that is because many landlords here prefer it in dollars. Reason: the dollar is historically more stable and less subject to change during the 3 years that most leases here are for. Not always sure that is true but it is the reason I have been given.

By the way, in the last few months I have seen many more signs in small businesses such as sodas stating that they DO NOT accept dollars!!!!

That's good advice. The general rule of thumb is to pay in the currency that the price is quoted in, when paying in cash, so there's no exchange rate risk. If you go to a Tico MP, and they say 19,000, pay in colones. If your hotel quotes the rate in dollars, better to pay in dollars.

All he says is true. I recommend the Del Rey for newbies and anyone that just wants to get to the women fast and safe. The only taxi you need is from the airport to the Del Rey. Food from room service or walk across to the Delmar Rest. You can Get drunk and don't worry about getting mugged etc while walking because you and your room at at GROUND ZERO.. First trip alone and don't speak squat of Spanish then the del rey is for you..
When you get a bit more comfortable then you can walk around a bit during the day. If you get lost then you might have walked into a dangerous area. No Spanish no problem. Just tell any taxi driver. HOTEL DEL REY and you will be back home in a few minutes.

This is a whole pissing-contest subject. You either love the HDR or not. I've never stayed, so cannot comment on the rooms and such. But the $11 chica fee would kill me. (My last trip would have cost me an extra $198.)

No newbie should limit themselves to just the HDR. In fact, I feel the HDR is only a night-time venue (yes there are chicas there in the daytime). The city itself has much to offer in terms of entertainment and adventure. So unless a newbie wants nothing more than to drink, phuck, and sleep, they'll want to see more than just the HDR.

Sounds like you are saying that there's no reason to leave the property. If so, you are limiting yourself greatly. There are lots of good options around town for food and pu*sy.
