As Admin1 pointed out, when someone speaks about 'the Marriott', in general it is assumed they are talking about the one near the airport, in Belen, NOT the Courtyard Marriott in Escazu. I assume Soxfan is inquiring about the Marriott near the airport.

A correction to what Orange stated...most chicas will not mind going outside the Gulch, to a nice hotel like the Marriott, the Cariari, the Herradura or the Intercontinental because they are luxury hotels and they assume they will be well-compensated as they figure if you're staying there, you have plenty of money to spend. Beware, at the DR or KL, if they know you're staying at the Marriott, they'll most likely want to 'overcharge' you.
