I can give one example of how showing a girl this site can cause other CRT brothers problems.

My first trip, someone who shall remain nameless (but is a dear friend then and now) took and posted a photo of me dancing with a girl in Key Largo and you could only see her from the back. About a month later, I got publicly bitched at in the middle of Del Rey by this outraged chica who wanted me to have it taken down. I told her I didn't take it and I didn't post it so nothing I could do. She kept on making a scene until she was asked to leave. Wasn't a fun thing to experience and it really was not my fault.

What was the offense? First, Nhhank said the guy was walking around with his laptop opened to CRT. Then he said Anna was reading something on the laptop. I doubt that Anna was walking around with a guy, reading something from his laptop. Even if Anna was reading something, we don't know what she was reading.

Posting someone's picture, of either a guy or a chica, without that person's permission is offensive in my opinion. But that is not what has been alleged happened here.

If you don't want someone to see what you have written, then don't post it on the Internet. Once it is posted, there is a very slim chance that it can be totally removed, and you sure can't control who sees it.

You have a point... I wasn't there to see what really went down, so it is probably unfair to judge at this point. Over the years, a number of chicas have obtained unlimited access to the site (including the paid sections). If a CRT member went out of his way to highlight a thread, or a certain member, to one of the working girls, that is exercising poor judgment in my book... and he should be called on it. Only the OP knows what went on and can clarify the speculation on our part.

On CRT we are scared to death that some chica might see what we write. We condemn anyone who shows a chica the site (And I agree and abide by this stupid rule solely because it is just that-a rule of the site!). Ten+ years ago when this site was started that rule could maybe be inforced since very few Ticos had computers nor access to one nor the ability to even find CRT on the net! Today this rule is totally bull crap! ANYONE, Tico, Tica, Nica, Colombian, etc. can find, access (even the VIP section) CRT if they want to!! As I have said many times before I have known several Chicas who were members (even paid members). Hell I know of two occasions in the past where a chica paid for a membership then sold her handle and password to other chicas for a few dollars each to recoup her money!! We all know there have been wimps who have GIVEN chicas access!! How many of them passed on to other chicas the name and password Hell, several years ago at the annual CRT party a chica won a lifetime membership in the raffle!! SHE WAS ALLOWED TO KEEP IT!!!!! A few guys even tried to buy it from her to keep her from having access-to the point of one even offering her $250 for it! She knew how valuable (at the time) it was and would not sell!!! Point is, in this day and age there is NOTHING ON THE INTERNET THAT OTHERS (ANYONE) CAN NOT ACCESS!!! Most of these chicas are much more "computer savvy" than most of us CRT members!!! So why do we worry so much about them seeing it!! If you don't want her to see what you wrote (are a scared little boy) DON'T WRITE IT!!!!!!

Guys are always making fun of the TICOS, accusing them of being cowards and always backing down!! As I have pointed out before, the Tico site ALLOWS THE CHICAS TO READ AND POST comments, rebuttals, info about their specials, where they are working and their hours, anything they want to post!! And these "cowardly" TICOS have to live here 365 days a year and face the chicas if they make them mad!! That site (the FORO) also has many, many more posts of valuable, useful information posted everyday than (I am sorry to say) CRT has in a week (or more)!! NOW WHO ARE THE REAL COWARDS

Hank, I hope you know that, as I stated at the beginning of my "rant', my comments were in no way directed at you but rather at the vast majority of pu*sy whipped, wife or girlfriend, or ex-wife dominated guys that exist today in the USA.

That said, PR you are right, and boy did she ever get mad at Hank, though I do not think he was really that concerned or upset that she was pissed at him. At least he did laugh a lot about it. And in the end what did it really matter? Hank is still here, still enjoying the life in CR, still seeing chicas, and is happy!! And where is she?? You sure do not hear much about her anymore! Maybe guys finally figured out she was not "all that" like so many thought for a while. Actually I heard recently she was working Jaco now and that her drug problem had gotten much worse!! Guess she still can't do us Gringos without being stoned

And by the way, as for my "rant', I certainly do not expect many on here to agree with me, but it is MY OPINION! And that opinion is based on seeing what goes on here day after day, wondering in amazement why Gringos come here and allow themselves to be controlled by the chicas just as they are in the states. And from reading CRT and the Foro everyday and seeing how much more info, interest, and enthusiasm; and how much less arguing there is on the Foro!! I know it might be extremely hard for many on here to accept, but we just might be able to learn something for the Ticos!!

And once again, the only way for a chica to know who you are on CRT is if YOU or some wimp tells them!! I personally have never hidden who I am. All the chicas know I am BB57! There are some that do not like me! Do I care? Not no, but HELL NO!!! In some cases it is because I posted something negative about them which was the truth, and if they did not like it they should correct the problem rather than get mad. Some do not like me because they know I refer guys to the MPs and other low(er) priced places thus taking business away from those that in my opinion are charging too much!! And, hell there are even a couple who do not like me because I do so many different chicas!!! One even calls me a "putero"!! Talk about the "pot calling the kittle black"!!!!!

That may be a novel idea that might work out beneficially for both parties. But, I don't believe that is the direction management is taking this site... and it has long given up the façade of fostering monger "brotherhood."

I have a little anecdote that transpired in the gulch 8 years ago. It involved me, a "brother" monger who has since departed for the "great gulch in the sky," and a stunning 18-year old tica harlot by the name of Karina. I've kept this story kind of secret over the years because I made a stupid mistake... I put too much trust in a fellow monger. Let's call this guy Monger A.

As the story goes, my buddy was madly infatuated with Karina. He would lapse into fantasies of being with her, and recite excerpts of romantic poetry from Khalil Gibran. As fate would have it, Karina had yet another suitor, also a mongering buddy of mine. He was infatuated with her as well. Let's call him Monger B.

I had met Monger A over breakfast in the gardens of Hotel Castillo. I made a subsequent trip, a few weeks later, and he was still camped out there. We did several Paseo Colon MP runs together, and became buddies of sorts. He had shown me several pictures of Karina, and I began to understand his obsession with her. At the time, I was "wifed up" with two tica "novias" and a visiting Colombiana... so I did not pay much attention to what was happening on the "playing field" in the gulch. One afternoon, Monger A and I were having a couple of drinks in the Gardens Bar. My friend seemed visibly troubled about something. I asked him what was wrong. Monger A mentioned that another CRT guy was horning in on his action with the 18-year old. I asked who it was. He mentioned Monger B by handle. I told him that I knew Monger B personally and considered him a friend.. I also added that Monger B had a thing for Karina long before he ever met her. We left things at that.

The next day, over breakfast, Monger A told me that he could not log into his CRT VIP account, and would I be so kind to let him "borrow" my CRT account log-in, until he got things squared away with Admin1. He told me that he wanted to session with a couple of girls recommended to him, but, first wanted to check out their pictures in the VIP gallery. Against my better judgment (and CRT rules), I gave it to him. And in the process, I learned a hard lesson.

Well, almost a week later, I was unable to log into my account. I sent Admin1 an e-mail, and asked him what was going on. Admin1 sent me a nasty gram back. He explained that a chica (Karina) had been caught at SL using my log-in account information. I immediately knew what had happened, and confronted my CRT "brother." In the meantime, I did my best mea culpa to Admin1 and explained that this would never happen again. Admin1 graciously gave me another chance, and restored full access to the board, but with a new password. (Admin1 somehow figured out who gave Karina the password as well. )

Monger A was sheepish and very apologetic when I confronted him. He did not deny anything. Apparently, Monger A wanted to show Karina pictures of her posted in the VIP Gallery. But rather than leaving it at that, he gave her my CRT handle and password so she could access the VIP Gallery at will. I saw Karina at the SL bar on a subsequent trip. I introduced myself and recalled the story. It was like sitting on the proverbial bar stool and being able to have a good laugh about it later.

So, in this case, I don't know who can be the least trustworthy... the mongers... or the girls? Practically speaking, I don't believe there is much that CRT can do now to protect site integrity (for lack of a better word). There are far more "snitches" out there than most of us would like to admit. And perhaps is not such a bad idea after all. With so many horses out the barn door, maybe a forum such as this would better foster client/provider feedback instead of mongering "brotherhood." Just my dos colones.

The foro is a tico social/discussion site that encompasses everything from the church to the sex industry. It has around 1.5 million members total. There is an adult section (at the bottom of the index page) that covers just about any and everything dealing with the sex industry in Costa Rica, and is by far the most popular part of the Foro.

It works different from CRT in many ways. One being that there are individual continuing threads for each place where chicas work. For instance the thread for the MP "360" which has only been open since May of 2012 has almost 16000 posts. It is totally in Spanish and what makes it even more difficult for most Gringos is the typical poster uses a lot of "Tico slang" which computer translators cannot translate correctly.

The chicas are allowed to read and post comments. Many will post their work schedules and promotions. Independent chicas like Jimena (now retired ) have even started their own threads or had a guy start the thread for them where they will then keep guys up to date on what they are doing and how to contact them and prices, etc.

There are thousands of pictures, and more than a few videos showing the chicas in action within the threads (almost never is the chica's full face shown-Ticos do respect the privacy of the working chicas). There are google maps within the individual threads showing the location for most of the places.

Biggest problem is all the damn popups!!
