In Costa Rica you (currently JUST a man and a woman) are considered Common-Law (“Union Libre”) after living together JUST 3 years - hence - entitled to all the same rights as a married couple. To prove it, you just need a couple witnesses and a judge.

If you want Alimony, you must file it within 2 years of separation.

Together less than 3 years? She is is not entitled to any $$ legally. (I’m not sure how Implied Promise type things - like the man promised to take care of her forever, or she quit her job for him or something.) .

Had K*ds together? That’s a separate Paternity/Ch*ld support case and far different from Ch*ldren that were hers prior to your relationship.(Law 8101 Ley de Paternidad Responsable).

A friend of mine here, no Stanford grad, if you get my meaning, married an ex HLH puta, not even one of the better ones, and she left him after 90 days and he thought she had some rights to his condo, etc., so he sold it fast and stopped his ss and pension from coming to his CR bank account and fled back to the U.S. Don't know if he knew something or was just over reacting...

I paid 3K for about 28 days in the DR. Live in a one room apartment with her, enjoyed the first couple of weeks - long story short - I would think long and hard about it because it does not stop @ the 3K . every-time there is any thing that cost..guess who up to bat. learned a lot though, and what I learned is that I'm not a Dominican - no matter how hard I tried, but don't let me rain on your parade, go for it and enjoy - just do it with your eyes wide open.

I got an idea, how about schedule four of them for 1 week each, you get the girl friend experience AND variety. If any one turns out to be a drag, toss her out and call the upcoming one to come in early...
