Oh another question there seems to be mixed reviews of Jaco, why is that?

1. It's hot and humid
2. The town is filthy
3. It's hot and humid
4. The beach is fugly and water is polluted
5. There are only a handful of places to pick up women, so very limited options. Even more so during the day.
6. Beatle Bar charges like $14 just to get in.
7. Oh, and it's hot and humid

Sincerely,

As the closest beach to SJO, it gets used more than other playas with all the attendant problems of over-use. It kinda reminds me of Oceanside, CA, circa 1965. The water is not fit to swim in, in my opinion, due to natural causes (riptides) and man-made ones (waste and waste products in the water). For P4P it's the only other option to SJO; for swimming and other beach activities, there's much better available.

There is a Dutch Nica working at HLH. From the word I got, she is almost full Dutch, having descended from Dutch immigrants. Having been to Amsterdam 8 times, she looked 100% Dutch to me, but she is a Nica

Is this Ruth you're talkin about?-I was with a girl @hlh in March,
pale-white skin & blonde-def stood out in the lineup!

I am almost 100% positive your speaking about Ruth. I'm always glad to hear about her cause it means she is still around. She tops the list of favorites I have :D t-minus 61 days till I am back down there and hopefully she is still there

I saw a blond at SL last night that I first thought was a gringa that had wandered off course. Is the "Dutch Nica" you are talking about a little older, maybe 35+?

Ruth is the dutch Nica, many very light skinned girls available.

We can arrange any tours for you here at HLH. For customized transport PuraVidaTransport is someone I can highly reccomend.

Yup, the fact that Jaco is the closest beach city to San Jose is the reason it has become the size it is. If you want to be a beach bum or surfer dude with readily accessible P4P, then it's fine, but if you really want a GOOD beach or surf spot, then go elsewhere. :D

1. PM BKTuna @ HLH. Currently there is a chica in their line-up that is one of the whitest Latinas I have ever seen, blonde too! Rumor has it, and you know what they are all worth down here is, she is half Nica and half Dutch...another reason to PM the answer man at HLH

2. I have a great ex-pat friend here who has had 3 disks operated on in his lifetime and getting around is a little tough for him too. However, with that said, I must admit that he and I have been all over this part of the world together and as long as you have understanding friends (wingman) and a good chica there should be no physical problems for you here. Besides, the farmacia's are always a few steps away for some good kick-ass pain relievers (if needed) over-the-counter for cheap prices.

Good luck

Too many unknown variables about likes, dislikes, expectations, etc. for us to answer. You can "Search" here for Brothers' mentions of favorite coastal thingies but I'd go to a civilian source to select and fine-tune. Please understand that P4P opportunities are sparse-to-none outside Jaco and SJO. I'd be careful and careful again about bringing an SJO chica to the beach to compensate--don't want that learning-curve-with-Latinas to bite you out of town. All that said, where there's a will...

One time I took a day tour to what was described as the Pacific coast, it turned out to be the Punta Leona beach and resort. Great beach--crescent-shaped with hills at the ends and white sand. Seemed like a good place to take that special favorita. :D

Thanks guys for all of the info, having discovered this site only a week ago I must say I am very impressed on 2 counts, first there seems to be a lot of respect generally between members, other mongering/hobbying sites seem to be exclusively for the "cool K*ds" to hang out in and any new members are not really that welcome. Second when some of you guys go to Costa Rica you actually act like tourists as opposed to being there for one purpose only, I was on another site for a certain European city well known for it's P4P exploits and you read some of the trip reports they are not entertaining. It's just one session followed by another and another..... they see and discuss nothing about Amsterdam, anyways that's just my 2 cents.

Oh and on a side note anyone looking for comedy just check out the reviews for HLH or HDR on Trip Advisor, you are guaranteed to find little old granny from North Carolina giving us insightful commentary such as "oh my God, the place was full of hookers, it was disgusting" hehe, someone obviously didnt do their research.

Actually, there are plenty of guys here who just want to plant themselves in the Del Rey or Sportsmen's Lodge and do nothing but drink and phuck themselves silly. Like you, I don't find them very interesting, my eyes quckly glaze over from the endless descriptions of various orifices that they've stuck their dick into.

I'm much more of a non-monger monger, my CR trips are more like actual vacations, and the chicas are just one of several activities that I do. At most I do one session a day at HLH, and there are some days that I don't get with a chica at all. I actually like going rafting or to the volcanoes or seeing some of the rain forest/natural areas. Rafting trips are tiring all-day events, all I want to do when I get back to my hotel is get a real quick meal than go to sleep. I usally lie down on bed for just a "quick snooze", the next thing I know it's 1:00 am, and I go "aw hell, just go back to sleep!" :D

Too right. "Granny Goosing" is almost too easy. A few years ago I raised a sh!tstorm by asking about personal weapons availability in CR--got accused of exporting negative U.S. values to this beatific land and one guy told me to go pound sand. I asked him, "Which beach?" Dead silence and that ended my involvement. Still highly recommended for civilian-type questions though.
