BlueDevil's comment about the cremes and lotions reminded me of something that is a little off subject but still related in my opinion. Yes many cosmetic and beauty items are very expensive here. Even little things like tooth brushes and toothpaste, many chicas seem to never have. Many of these items can be bought in the Chinese stores here and in places like Walmart in the States fairly cheap (Stock up on a lot of items when I make a visa run to Panama). I never tip a chica in cash--I give them "gifts" and they seem to really appreciate them just as much if not more !!!

Here is a list of some of the items I keep in my apartment just for the chicas:
Toothbrushes--I buy them by the dozen at Piquino Mundo for like 35 cents each
Toothpaste-- the small 75ml tubes cost barely over a dollar here and even less in Panama
Ponds skin creme--I keep the small bottles of this, especialy the makeup remover, for them to use while here and if she is a 'special' chica I will give her a bottle. Costs about $4 here; $2 in Panama
sanatary moist wipes--I buy the small packs in the Chinese stores for about $1
Revlon Aquamarine body lotion-- these chicas never seem to have lotion for massages and this can be bought in the Chinese stores here for c800 (about $1.50)
condoms--I buy them on line for 12.5 cents each and give the chicas 5-6 (or more) almost everytime I session whether it is in my house or in a MP.
Panties and even Bras--I buy them very cheap in Panama. Last time I was there I even found PlayBoy brand panties for a dollar each. I buy bras there for $1-$2.
I even keep assorted lipsticks and small things of different makeups which I buy for about $1 each to give them. Eye shadow, base, powder, eye liners, etc.

And one very hot item with a lot of the chicas--I buy school uniform shirts in Panama for $1 each for their K*ds. Same shirt cost $5-$6 here.

YES, with some (maybe many)of these chicas it is "ALL ABOUT THE MONEY", but this is not always the case and I can usualy sort out that type of chica (I am not interested in this type no matter how hot looking she may be). The chicas I session with really appreciate the small gifts just as much if not more that a monotary propina and almost always the next time I see her, the price of a session comes down!! Typically I may give a chica (at the end of a session) items that cost me a total of maybe 3 to 5 dollars but would cost her $10-$15 here--They love it!!!

BB57, yes, the chicas do appreciate these things as additional propinas, but as been mentioned they don't pay the rent or put food on the table. The typical tourist monger just isn't going to be able to simply trade a gift for sex with a chica he probably won't see again, she's going to want the dinero (and she can always take the other stuff if said monger is foolish enough to leave them out, which was said in jest but has some truth to it). Now, if he does repeat sessions with her, makes her a regular, favorita or "novia", then this kind bartering can become possible. Besides, if a guy buys a lot of stuff here in the US intending to trade it for sex, he can easily pay far more than what he would in straight cash to a chica.

HT, Your opinion--my opinion!!! Maybe you are right, maybe I am right!! All I know is it worked for me --when I was visiting here, not just after I moved here. And I have friends who visit here 1-2-maybe 3 times a year who do it! Maybe it won't work with everyone (Of that I am sure actually) but I do know it does work with some. You are correct about going over board--I would never, as a visitor, bring more than 1 or 2 items with the intention of bartering. And you are correct in that if a guy is coming the last week in the month (the week before the rent is due) or if she is strapped for cash and has to pay a bill the next day, no, it is not likely to happen. And if you read what I posted, I said "not likely to happen on the 1st session BUTcan easily happen on a second session! Contrary to popular gringo belief, not all the chicas are that desperate. IN fact one of their biggest problems is saving enough money to buy the "high" ticket items they want and if they can barter for those items, quite often they are more than willing to do it. And yes I live here and it is a little different, but I guite often have chicas ask if I can get them a phone or some other "high ticket" item in exchange for sex.

We can argue this till the end of time, but I know it happens quite frequently. NO, not every guy can do it; NO, not every chica will be willing to do it; Yes some guys can do it; Yes some guys do it regularly when visiting here; Yes a lot of chicas are more than willing to barter if it is something they want or need! Many guys are just not comfortable approaching a chica with the idea of bartering--many have no problem with doing it!!! As I stated earlier, "It is a challenge to me"!! I actually started doing it (bartering for sex) when I was about 19 and was a hair stylist--amassing how many gringas would trade their bodies for a hair color or a permanent wave!! even back in the "olden days"!!!!!!!!!!

OH, and, NO, I would never recommend a guy trying it on his first visit to CR unless he is an experienced monger! I was just trying to make the point that, yes, it can and does happen!!!!

The way it sometimes works is that you bring a chica up to your room and she notices (and mentions how much she likes), and that's how the bartering starts.

NEWBIES: DO NOT lay out your stash of trade goods and let her go through them. You will end up parting with much more than you intended. Instead, decide what you are going to barter with and stick to that item. They don't need choices...they will just want it all and be disappointed that you don't let them clean you out.
