But where did he pack the Diacort??? And also he did seem to forget that that he still has to get the clear quart zip lock bags on top with any liquid/paste stuff>>>

did get a idea form the video, the use of holding straps to condense stuff down. Got a mess of them 1" strap with little quick release holders. have to play with them later to see if I can crush it all down

A recent addition to my kit is a couple of travel packs of Wet Ones Antibacterial Hands & Face Wipes. Kills 99.99% of Germs. Good for wiping down the equipment while you wait on the chicas that don't like company in the shower!

The only problem I have (and it's a big one) with Purell and all other anti-bacterials is the .01 they don't kill--what you are doing is wiping out the weakest and leaving the strongest of a species to breed. There are whole classes of antibiotics that are completely ineffective now due to this. The new classes of antibiotics are effective against germs, true, but near-toxic to us. That old saying about "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger" is especially true about life forms that can breed and mutate 10,000 times a year. Just because you feel "fresher" doesn't mean you are more secure--just the opposite is true. Wash that schwanz in pure chlorine bleach and then you will have truly done the job--good luck in having the Chica come anywhere near you afterwards--but you'll be bug-free.

OK, here's one article picked at random; typing "The dangers of antibiotic overuse" into a search engine Search bar should produce about 63,000 more hits--take your pick. it's certainly well-enough documented from consumer pieces to academic studies: http://www.suite101.com/content/dangers ... ss-a277094

Does CR customs have the keys to TSA approved locks or will they snip my lock? Trying to figure out if I need a 2nd lock to use in my room in case CR customs cuts my lock to inspect my bags. Or will I be able to unlock it for them after I make it through customs?

While I'd like to protect my suitcase from random theft by airport staff, I'm more concerned about protection from Ticas during our sessions.

Just my perception but I think luggage is safe with the airlines because they do not want any one tampering with checked in bags. That way they know that no employee of theirs is maybe putting any kind of bomb into a bag. They even sometimes wrap checked in bags in thick plastic sheets to make them tamper proof.
I have stopped locking my bags after having had the lock broken by the TSA. They are supposed to have keys to open specially approved locks but that does not always seem to be the case.
Take the lock to use to keep girls rummaging through bags in the room. Use the room safe for valubles.
