Bang Bang. You say the working girls are cleaner than the non-pros. Is there a website that has that documented? The 1/5 part?

Doing some research on medhelp, a doctor on that site also says that most working girls don't have hiv. He didn't cite a journal or other type of academic support, but it was interesting to hear a doctor say that. Probably contrary to public perception.

Sorry I can not remember exactly where but Over the past 2-3 years I have read 2-3 articles which stated that generally prostitutes were less likely to have STDs. There was one article with figures from the Costa Rican government which showed that prostitutes here had a very low incidence of STD. It also stated that working chicas were much more likely to get regular check-ups than were non-pros. I do not remember any of the exact figures and can not find the article now, but it showed a much lower rate for every disease than in the USA. The only figure I do remember was the 2007 or 08 figures for HIV--17 cases reported that year and only one was female and she was not a working chica. I do remember that genital warts (papilloma) seem to be the most prevalient STD among the working chicas here. I will continue looking for the articles.

If true 17 is an extremely low national number and an incredible turnaround as the WHO reported in 2003 for CR an "annual incidence rate" of HIV at 400 to 500 annually holding steady "over the past few years"...

My guess is that HSV-2 is a MUCH bigger problem than HIV.

Please search for the recent thread in the VIP Section that details how a member who shall remain nameless caught a STD through such practices and if that does not dissuade you from an extremely hazardous practice, I suggest you go sans condom as well; in for a penny in for a pound. I sincerely hope that after you read that post you rethink eating a hooker's money maker

To each his own!! I may catch something tonight, but I have been "DATY" for 40+years and have never got anything but pleasure from the practice!! And I am much, much, much more likely to DATY with a hooker than with a non pro--you will never convince me that the hooker is not cleaner--they are also much more careful than the non pros!!!! Yes it is possible to catch something form the practice but according to the medical experts, the chances are very slim!! You can also get hit by a car crossing the street to get home from work!! You going to stop working just because there is a slim chance (if you are careless and do not 'check' before crossing) that you might get hit!!!!!!!!!! Yes one guy on CRT has reported getting something from DATY(and there may be a few unreported cases), but how many times over the 7+ years have the 20000 + members DATY??? sounds like very low odds to me!!!!! Yes there are risks in this hobby(and not just from DATY) just as there is risks in many hobbies; but if you are not willing to take the risk, why be in the hobby???? JMHO
