A wingman has his place in the Air Force (or any other military branch that's up in the air....) and is critical for tactical superiority.

However, a "wingman" for hunting poon is a crap shoot in my view. To begin with, when we travel in gangs, the chicas travel in gangs. Typically, it's the the 2 together deal. It becomes complicated getting rid of the one you don't want. However, since they see us traveling in pairs if not larger groups, they do as well. Maybe they smell the ducats. I dunno.

It's nice to shoot the breeze with guys at first light and swap lies...and even for lunch and, heck, even dinner.....even at the bar it's "ok".....going to Mas X Menos with a buddy...whatever.....but I'm not in CR to hang with swinging dicks....I'm there for other reasons. Generally, a "wingman" gets in my way.

What has that got to do with anything? Why would someone "...offer to be my wingman..." when I openly state I don't really want one? I've gone to several places with guys....from Cafe Mundo to the Del Rey to Key Largo to Pantera Rosa to SL, etc., etc., etc. and always split away on my own because the hunting is far easier when you're a trained sniper! Plus, I don't like other guys knowing what I'm targeting....it's none of their business and it's a major turn off for me to know the guy sitting next to me at breakfast at La Amistad had been "shaking hands" earlier with the same chica I'd just been with. Yuk.

On the other side of the coin, I can't count the number of hands I've held as I've taken new guys on my junior walking tour as I secure supplies....and they see a lot more than grubby massage parlors (although no point in not going in as you pass them!) when with me....but there is always the need for the duckling to swim on his own....and that ain't my job.

...And you've had how many offers to be your wingman? When was the last time you were actually in Costa Rica? What? TWO YEARS AGO or longer??

Hey Jazz, I did had the opportunity to hang with Steven1 and yes he is cut from a different mold than most of us that what makes him a more interesting fellow than most of the vanilla personalities that you find around. It is an acquired taste but his views although different can bring light from another perspective.

Now getting back to the discussion of a wingman, it is more of choice and how much company you want to be with it in CR. Some of us like to do solos, even when I go to TJ, I rather walk alone than with a wingman. In CR the same but I can see that I’m giving up some benefits. Security by numbers, BS sessions in between, etc. But some of us like to hang loose and a wingman will be in the way. Consider us more like submariners that need to run deep, run silent, while carrying the biggest loads.

Yea, usually there isn't an "offer" to be a wingman. You either roll with somebody or you don't. A wingman doesn't need to be in your back pocket but rather just around. Everybody has the option on rolling solo. If you are there for straight mongering and just wanna do as many chicas as you can then its irrelevant..
