I still believe the more you comprehend and speak, things like an accent will come. I'm all for the advice to speak with an accent, I just feel adding that on top of everything else one can start to feel defeated quickly.
I think taking a piece of all the suggestions above and seeing what's best for you is the way to go.
Thanks. Speaking of accents, I read in my Spanish text that in CR, they don't roll double r's like other spanish speakers do.
