Because none of his questions pertain to other countries, or general questions. They are all CR specific.

If he said "Whats the weather like in CR for August" or "Do I need a passport to leave the US?" then I would probably agree with you, but asking what the scene is like compared to another country, or what hotel would best suit his needs isnt really like that.

He isnt clueless, as I personally vouch for his travels. IMHO its the same as guys on here posting "What is Thailand like compared to CR" or whatever. No matter how many times you make a thread answering the question, someone is going to make a new one asking the exact same thing.

He mentioned he enjoyed Thailand and PI, so maybe guys that have been to all three can put some input in to make the transition easier.

Personally, I think having been to Asia, CR is an absolute shithole and a waste of time. Thats my opinion.

Not clear here with what you are trying to say. I assume that it wasn't a shithole when you made your first trip in 2005? Has the transformation been gradual over the past 3 years? Or was it the actual act of your going to Asia that turned CR into a shithole? In that case, the Nobel committee should be contacted and you should be nominated for the award in physics. :D

BERK-is there a question that could not be answered by reading. Then if one did not understand the answers by all means ask. Last i checked non paying members had access to most sections including THE NEWBIE SECTION.

It's the NEWBIE section. Point the guy in the right direction like the thread "CR for Dummies". His questions about CR are specific to CR. I'm still looking for the bull shit.

I havent been back since going to Asia. I just cant justify it or "sell" the trip to myself.

The costs, the performances, the atmosphere, flights, none of it really matches up to what I expect now; having been to where Ive now been.

Im sure others will argue its a great spot for weekend hops, or that Asia isnt really as cheap as people make it out to be when you factor in all the costs and such, but I beg to differ.

i have to agree with you only been to cr once on business but after reading reports here and seeing that hotels r getting 75 to 250 pluss a night and girls think they are worth 100 pluss per hour and not really into the gfe then i look at cost of flight to SEA which for me is more expensive than most coz i fly business or first just for the comfort and hotels for a executive type accomidations for 30 to 110 per night depending on the country and girl for 30 to 80 max all night not an hour the over all cost is less than going cr and paying for a girl by the hour pluss the people there in SEA welcome u like a long lost member of the family and oh yes filippnas are of spanish decent also with out the big language barrier

This is a "to each their own" kind of thing. I like Latinas and I also like knowing when they are looking at me. Orientals... I can never tell. Plus I like chicas who consume "normal" food. No dog, cat, rat or monkey for me.

With love,

Berk....

- Rats in Mexico.
- Monkey in Panana.

BTW - They are all latin countries.
