I'm not good at math, calculus and physics either, so I just say you need "more cushion for the pushin'"!

Last night I was chatting with a FB friend, who works at Cocal every weekend. We somehow got onto the topic of chicanomics (or putanomics as vulgar mongers like to say  ).

FWIW, here's how the conversation went (translated from Spanish of course).

"How's business these days?"

"It's good. Lots of gringos. The ones in Jaco pay a lot more than the ones in San Jose. Most of the HDR regulars are working at Cocal, along with chicas from Puntarenas and even Guanacaste. Girls come from all over because you get paid more in Jaco."

"How many days are you working?"

"I'm usually down Thursday through Saturday, but if I haven't worked for a while I may go down Tuesday or Wednesday also".

"What's your working day like?"

"I usually get to Cocal early, around 6 PM. I like to get in early so I can get 3 to 4 'dates' by 10PM, then I can jump in my car and go back home to San Jose and be there by midnight."

"Wow, you commute to Jaco from San Jose?"

"Usually yes - unless I get an all night client. You know I like to drive."

"What's the usual rate these days?"

"Well I get $500 for all night, $200 for short term."

"Do you ever go for less or get offered less?"

"Some gringos offer $100. Most chicas won't take it unless it's a really slow night. I won't go for less than 150 for short term, and that would be a special price for someone I know or a group deal..."

"Group deal? You mean a gang bang?"

"Sometimes we get a group of guys, 10 staying in the same place, and three of us chicas visit and take care of all them but not all at the same time! Doesn't happen all the time but we can make 500 dollars each in a short time."

"What's your average session with a client like?"

"Less than 30 minutes, sometimes 10 minutes. I get him off, clean up, then return to Cocal if I still need more money."

P.S. This chica is about a 7 on the hotness scale. Attractive with large bolt-ons and a tight figure, but not drop dead gorgeous.

Wow, MH....sounds like your Facebook friend is getting rich in a hurry!

Must be some horny, rich Clydes that are going with an average 7 Cocal chica for 10 to 30 minutes and paying $200 bucks a pop!

In my recent visits to Cocal, I've paid $150 for a short time with what I consider an 8 to 9...but taking our time and not clock watching, minimum 90 minute session. What your friend describes sounds like a plausible situation if there were 2 or 3 Clydes per chica

In any case, if that's what it's like for her, she must be right. I'm heading to Cocal for three nights in a few weeks...looking forward to feeding the Sharks

Don't know about rich, but she drives a 2015 Toyota Corolla so she must be doing something right.

And I believe that is Pops' point - there ARE a lot of Clydes per chica in Jaco.

Do you all really believe every gringo going to Jaco reads CRT or is as sophisticated as you guys? For every one of you there are probably 20 Clydes.

Holy Moly! I'd pay Sofia Vergara 200 for 30 mins, but I ain't flying to Central America to pay Dos Cien! I'll stick to pounding the pavement in the gultch for the hidden Gems and base my Operation out of La Amistad with the All Inclusive. 8)

Nosejelly, I totally agree with you. Also Sophia just might, might that is, send you an autographed picture of her for $200, fully clothed. I would not want to get into a bidding war with you for her. :)

There is a company in Jaco that specializes in bachelor parties Jaco VIP. The owner of the Beatles Bar from before it got screwed up is one of the owners I believe. Someone who has been on the scene for many years. They provide transportation, locations, catering and tours for the parties. Some of the condos and houses they rent out can handle a dozen or more guys there to party. They don't provide girls. I have a friend who made these her specialty. She knew the locations from having been there on many occasions and would go by during the day and ask if they wanted company. If she found a party in need, she would call her friends to come help if they wanted more entertainment. One of the conditions once the girls came to a party was money was guaranteed just for them to be there. Once they got a retainer, the clothes came off and the party started. At this point the guys negotiated for services that they want. These are the Clydes. They have never heard of CRT. Their idea of negotiating is if they can afford it they pay. If they can't afford it and want it bad enough they borrow from their buddies. Cien is nothing to them. It is a one time thing. They have an idea what ******* cost back in the states where it is illegal and dangerous for them. They never expect to come back. They have never been that close to a live pu*sy that was mounted on a world class racing frame.

During the evening at the Cocal you may see a couple of guys come in and leave with 4 or 5 girls or 4 or 5 girls head out quickly as if something important is up. Just because you see many more women than men there does not mean that they are desperate enough to come off the price they think they can get. Groups of guys come down to Jaco to go fishing. Some boats may cost $2500 and more per day. Usually $1000 to $1500 gets you a charter on a nice boat that will comfortably handle 4 or 5 people. It is still several hundred dollars each to go fishing. It is a big party for them. They generally are not trying to score women to wife up with or see how many they can service in a day. If they are staying at a private condo or in Los Suenos they are spending pretty big money already. These guys have money.

If you are looking for a sure enough trophy, the Cocal is the place to go. It is not the place to seek gfe or cheap. Can you get gfe? Yes, if you play it right. Can you get bargains? Is a new BMW for 30 grand a bargain? It's still 30 grand. Same true with women. I know a woman that use to work the Sportsman's and Del Rey whom I have seen working at the Cocal on my last two trips down. She charges $150 but according to dozens of guys who commented about her when I posted about her years ago she was worth twice what they paid.

The Del Rey has it's moments still but I was there yesterday Saturday at 5pm. There wasn't a working girl in the place that was less than thirty and less than 20 lbs. overweight. Not one of them would be over a 5. That was the good ones. I went from the Del Rey to the Sportsman's and there were more girls there (more than 15) than were at the Del Rey and the quality was much better on the average. It was early. I'm sure it got better later in the evening. The lineup at both Zona II and Monica's was better than either the Sportsman's or Del Rey during the day yesterday with better looking, younger and actually more women than were to be found at the hotels. The Cocal is generally dead during the day. There will be 6 to 10 girls around the pool in the afternoon and the quality will be average. At 7pm to 8pm they start rolling in and it is quite a show.

My comments on this thread have been about the cost of pu*sy. I know a whole lot more about why pu*sy costs what it does here in Costa Rica than I do about why a gallon of gas costs what it does in the States. It is much more complicated than it looks on the surface. I may go to different stations looking for cheaper gas but in the end I pay what I have to if I want to continue to drive.

That's why New Yorkers go to New Jersey to fill up their tanks. After all gas is just gas. Why pay more ?

Imagine the prices the Ticas will want after this place and the Mega Yatch Crew spoils them!

Alright, if I'm hanging with 10 buddies, you can be sure we are not going to share 3 chicas. Talk about a bad ratio....WTF

Good perspective, MH....I have never been crazy for Jaco and this reaffirms it. I like hanging in Quepos or MA. And for that money, I would just hit CTG. Similar climate and hotter chicas.

As much as MH's chica wants to tell-all, in the limited few nights I have spent at the Cocal, I'd say 90% of the chicas NEVER LEAVE with a client. I'm usually there for 4 to 5 hours just hanging out, and the majority of faces wander to and fro, but only a few disappear and return later.

*IF* she is doing 3 or 4 a night, it is dead obvious that she is damn-near the only one pulling that kind of load from the Cocal. Most of those girls go home without work (and actually never even get bought a drink).

As to the parties with groups, I have not been to any and have no idea how they operate. Perhaps THAT is the real scene down there, and the Cocal is just the overflow bucket.

Bashful
Agree % 100
Before I started wifing up that's what I witnessed.
All the women I went with were more than happy with $100 and I repeated with many most were in the 7-9 category imho. I remember having 1 visit me in the afternoon (broncos/ravens were opening season).I asked if she would be working at night her response was you made my day to much competition tonight..Thursday.
