Hi all,

When I went to CR 6 months ago, some frequent traveler guys told me to bring "bonus" items for the girls my next time & their "performance" would be better. Examples of what they said were:

1) Reese's cups (sounds dumb but they aren't available in CR & the girls love them)
2) any Bath & Body Works products
3) Victoria's Secrets stuff
4) baby oil?
5) bras?

Does anyone have any experience in giving these out to the girls? Reese's cups are dirt cheap, & Victoria's Secrets crap sounds too expensive to bring.

The cheap stuff at the dollar store they like, anything for K*ds, just shop around you will find something cool, the really big candy bars they pick, for the K*ds

Good quality/inexpensive health and beauty aids and chocolates are hard to find in Latin America. We can pick this kind of stuff up cheap in the States, and these are the type of gifts the girls appreciate. BTW, Victoria Secret always has at least 2 dozen items on sale for around $5 a piece.

they like the 10 packs of those plastic shavers for women that you can buy for a dollar here.

but, if you really want to get their attention, go to the basillica in cartago after you arrive and buy some plastic figurines filled with holy water.......that will set you back more than a pack of dollar store razors but will be very popular with the little darlings.

They want/need money... so give it to them.... and if you feel the need to help out a chica a little extra Take here to a grocery store and fill her cart... then you kinda know where your money went

Instead of gifts or whatev, how about using charm, wit or guile to get a good session?

What is it about us North American men that we feel the need to give women gifts? I will be the first to admit that I enjoy buying things for women, taking them out to dinner, etc. The problem is it actually subconsciously lowers her attraction for you when you buy-pay for things.

When I do buy a Chica a gift I try to get her something that only she can use. I once brought a Chica in Cartagena a cheap DVD player as a gift. When I told this to a (older and wiser) monger that I met there, he said that her lazy boyfriend will really appreciate my gift.
