Alot of people are lying on this message board about the sportsmen lodge. I am here at del rey right now and i went to go check out the sportsmen lodge after reading all the good stuff about it...when i got to the sportsmen lodge, there were only 3 ugly girls and about 10 men...really really dead...

on the other hand...the del rey is packed with so many beautiful girls...few ugly ones...but over 200 girls here...wow!

whatever people are saying about the SL is false...it sucks...go check it out for yourself...but you will be wasting your time!

i think people on here are just trying to advertise the sportsmen lodge...but it sucks...stop lying to people!

i gotta go now...chicas are calling me!

see ya!

I beg to differ....you must have hit the SL during a very slow time. I have found some real beauties there. Plus, there are far fewer sharks and scammers than you will find at the DR. I find that although there are a lot more girls at the DR, the ratio of scammers and sharks is very high compared to the SL.

So don't listen to this guy - the SL has lots of good looking women come in, and some not so good looking ones too. You can say the same about the DR - I've seen plenty of train wrecks and heifers in there.

Based on the number of rooms @ the SL v.s. HDR , I expected there to be a discrepancy in terms of available talent between the two venues. I put that into the equation when I would eat at the SL and still wondered where all the chicas were  :?: (The DR makes you spoiled). There where some fine ladies at the SL, It just wasn't "flooded" like the HDR (How many do you really need though?). Me I just need one or two. The good ole Quantity v.s Quality question. As a matter of fact. I ended up running into the ladies that I saw @ the SL in the HDR/KL a few times. Every!!! Chica I ran into at HDR after meeting them at SL ended up being more personal and warmer towards me than girls I met at the DR. I happen to like the vibe at the SL, along with the food, and gorgeous staff. I'm not invested either way I'm just keeping it real, no lies!. I liked the escape from the "DR/KL shark tank" I got while at the SL. I will say that I didn't pull any talent from SL and yes I truthfully expected there to be more talent available @ SL, based on my readings here and video posts on other sights. I even got a few request for "Cien" @ SL which I thought wasn't going to happen. What you expected to happen and what happens in SJ may vary!!!

I was talking to one of the CRT bros one night at the Castillo about this issue and he said the number of Chicas at the SL was down compared to his previous trips. He had mentioned something about a "card" the chicas have to have now, in order to work @ the SL. He said that wasn't required of the girls on his past trips . He said since that was implemented chica numbers where down at the SL. Either way.... The SL doesn't suck, you do for posting this bullshit three times!!

Taking the time out to educate.

from the thread it appears this newbie only went to SL one time during the early part of the day and it expected to see what he was seeing at the Del Rey prolly after sevenish any day of the week. I'd prolly say yes.

"look here young feller!"

You might have seen more girls at DR at a given time and place in time, however I very sure that there was a lot more tricks, BS, and drama to go along with the numbers exponentially. A good idea is not to judge too quickly my friend. Every venue has its good and bad nights and numbers.

Remember this my friend.

Even if you never go back to SL again in your life's exsistance. There are those of us that have been members and travelers that visit SL quite frequently with great succwss with hot chicas all da time. I'm sure you won't change anyones mind here based on your only visit to SL!

Guy posting from the Del Rey computers on a Sunday Night at 12:35 Ya think maybe the SL might be a little quiet.
I don't moderate or delete such items but obviously this is taken with a grain of salt.

While the SL has its advantages/disadvantages one can not readily place it into the category of a flop coming from someone with little experience as it appears. One cannot fairly compare it to the Del Rey on any given day or time simply because the HDR is GROUND ZERO. I have certainly been in the HDR, at times, where one could claim the place is a major let down.

Locations and places are like chicas... what happens to be one man's "trash" is another man's "treasure". :D

If anything the selection of girls at the Sl has continued to improve this year. The best times to be there are late afternoon through about 10pm as they close at 12. I am certainly not a shill, I run a competing establishment but still consider the SL to be a great place to hang.

Ignorance is a bliss....If we were to judge everything by our first experience where would we be? Even though I have two trips under my belt, and a third one coming up in a couple of weeks, I still a newby. I have found everything I've needed at SL to the point where I havent even set foot at HDR. Im planing on rectifiying that on this coming trip, but just so I can say that I've been there and done that, not because I needed something that I couldn't get from SL.

Just my two colones..... :D

I don't believe anybody has lied to you. In fact, it is common knowledge that SL is not a 24/7 place like the HDR. I don't think anybody wants it to be way. Sometimes it can be slow chicawise. $2 gets you to ground zero, the HDR. But, a better environment overall, you will not find elsewhere.

We all have different preferences when it comes to lodging. I just feel it was very strong opinion on your part based on one observation on a Sunday night. Check it out Thursday HH, see what you think.

Simpler, they may just want men to think they are as perfect as they want to appear to them, trying to hide what they consider to be the ugly truth about themselves. And I may be reading more into it than is there, but I do believe they consider the basis of the lies to be justified."

No really it does suck, don't stay there, warm beer, lousy food and slow service. And Bill has the audacity to offer 20% off on rooms the rest of the year if your staying 4 nights or more. As for chicas may I recommend the Femme Fatale wearing the sombrero, it may even give you a reach around. Gotta go now have to cancel my next 3 trips @ Sportman's as we all know it ssssuuuucckks, and thanks for the advice Newbie :!: :!: :!: 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
