I know..sounds like a dumb question...but my favorite(by far) drink is cranberry and Vodka..because it is easy on my kidneys and I don't have to get up 100 times a night to piss...

I recall (I think) hearing that it may be tough to find?If that is the case I am going to try to ship a box of it down there to where I will be staying.

Most of the larger grocery stores will have it. But expect to pay about 2-3 times the price you are use to in the states. Even in Hypermas (Walmart superstore here) it is about doble the US price.

How about tomato juice? I love my tomato juice in the morning, but when I retire there if I can't get it, oh well, I'll get over it.

Damn, now CR is looking like a paradise. As long as I can get great coffee and tomato juice, my morning repast is complete!

Clamato is available at Auto Mercado and Super Saretto. Bring lots of colones.

New Jersey thanks you for liking 2 of our prime agricultural products--cranberries and tomatoes...especially as the Florida tomato crop failed this year. A rich bounty indeed for us.
As far as clams go (as in Clamato juice), yes, we harvest a bunch of those too--we know hangover/ put lead-back-in-your-pencil remedies--that's why there are so many New Jerseyans...

I've found cranberry juice at Mas x Menos and Auto Mercado. It's usually on the bottom shelf on the aisle with the room temp beverages. I've never found it in the small bottles or boxes, only in the biggest bottle that seems really expensive.

JazzboCR, Sorry my friend but the tomato products sold here do not come from NJ. Tomatos are one of the few things they do not import. Fresh tomatos can almost always be found here for 25-50 cents a pound.

I was in Mas X Menos yesterday and checked the price for Cranberry juice. OceanSpray was c3600 (almost $7) for the large (about a half gal.) and the off brand was c2700 ($5) same size.
