Stinky.
Good to hear from you again old boy…Geez, what a problem…keeping the business associates (read: amateur mongers) busy so they think that they are having a somewhat respectable trip…

Well a few thoughts, as I have had to give the same advice, unfortunately not in CR, but before their trip…
Shopping for Cuban Cigars was a big favorite, and a trip to Don Benigno Cigars in SJ is a big hit. They make cigars with Cuban filler and Ecuadorian wrapper that are the best that I have ever smoked!... and they are legal to bring back! Juan Carlos at the SL can get you there and make sure you get a good deal (10% disc for dollars) and if you ask, they will take you back to the rolling room and explain the different blends and whole leaves that are used for the different cigars… I learned a lot... OBTW have your guests pick up a few Cubans at duty free on the way in… much cheaper than any store in SJ.
The Canopy tour is a
GREAT TIME and we left at about 7:30am and returned about 3:00pm, with stops at McD’s for breakfast, a beer stop (or two) and were at ZB by 4:00 pm for steam and “massageâ€â€¦ Great fresh marlin for lunch… and do both parts of the trip…first part is through the jungle and the second part is up the towers and the full adrenaline rush of the longest and highest lines… The trip through the countryside is also a nice bonus with a couple of places to stop for homemade queso or local food if that excites your group…hell, we just wanted to get back for a ZB session….
I also suggest you look into Cariari CC, good course with caddies, full locker facilities (steam, shower, pool, gym, valet. ect..) plus a good little restaurant in the clubhouse. They are affiliated with the hotel out there, so I’m sure you could work a deal for a day at the club. Greens fees are $60. Caddies $20 +$5 propina, locker room was a $3 propina..
Other than that …buying pharmaceuticals at low prices w/o scipts… the Jade museum…a good nooner from the BM…lunch at Café Mundo…a carnivores outing at Fogo Brasil…
So how much do I have to buy to get invited…
