This remind me my first trip to San Jose, Costa Rica, in 2004 with two of my coworker. being in our early 40s they share the room at Delray. I got my own. for 4 nights than go to Jaco never make it. they fight like dog and cat and then asked for my room I said hell no. Than we move to hotel morazan.one guess
they share room again. That was the last time we ever went on any trip together. They mad at each other who use the room first and they mad me because I won’t share my room.

Talk to Darren at the Castillo and let him know your needs. They own both the Castillo and Hotel La Amistad and should be able to offer you a good deal on 2 rooms.

The Castillo is in a better location situated between The Sportsmen's Lodge and Taormina.

Hotel La Amistad is a block east of SL and next to the train tacks which runs Monday through Friday. It can get noisy. Hotel La Amistad does have a suite with a Hot Tub and Sauna though... which is really nice! Also, across the street is one of my favorite restaurants for breakfast and fantastic coffee.

Hope this helps!

Is Darren STILL at the Castillo ?

My first trip was 2006 and he was there. Great guy.

Guess he's a true "lifer".
