Are there any hotels near the San Jose airport where I can entertain a young lady without causing problems? My flight gets in late and I'm only in San Jose for one night. Thinking about staying near the airport rather than the Gulch.
Also, I've been looking at personal ads on Skokka and Wilas. Are the Ticas who advertise there usually a solid bet? Most of the Ticas are young, in their early, early 20s. Any issues engaging with a 21 year old? Are they usually professional, dependable and fun? I'm in my late 50s. Any other sites I should check?

I usually stay at the Marriott Hacienda Belen (https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/sjocr-costa-rica-marriott-hotel-hacienda-belen/overview/?scid=f2ae0541-1279-4f24-b197-a979c79310b0). They do not care if you bring in girls and do not charge. Been there many times and never an issue, even in the middle of the night. I have even taken them to the nice bar downstairs and all good. Now, the families tend to give you a look, but no one else cares.

As for the age thing. It is surely an "it depends" think. I have had girls that are young that are fun, attentive, english speaking and wonderful. And of course, the pure opposite. So, it will always be an it depends. And also, everyone has a different perspective so what is great for one person may not be for another even if they seem to be looking for the same thing. But, in the end, I have been really lucky over the years to not have any bad issues.

Also, I have had some luck actually on instagram. I started with girls that are connected to things like the Orange Bar and Cocal, then went wider from there. I set up a Tinder and have been chatting and lining things up with some girls who are "Looking for Short-term Fun". what is a good starting point for benefit for them? This is what I'm thinking. So, while I am lining things up like you for my first visit - I've asked around on seeking, tinder, skokka, escort sites, and internationalsexguide. An overnight seems to be standard set 3-450$, depending on what the tica knows she's worth in a hotness scale. The good news is, depending on your charm, you may be able to convince someone to do it for less. Having dinner hang out with you in the room for hour or two to me still $100. If you never been to Costa Rica, the ticas can eat and drink for at least 50 bucks if you don’t know her.

Also unless I know the tica. she would not stay in my room overnight. Only ticas stay my room if someone I know for many years.(2 years minimum)

I get the apprehension. I had overnighter in pan city and lima but I definitely vibes them out first and I sleep light....plus I like to think I'm a professional important shit hider. I wouldn't do it with just anyone, someone you've seen before is wise.

Arriving late and being in town 1 night, I would rethink your wine and dine idea with your limited time and focus on booking a chica for the night you arrive, and if possible have another chica scheduled for the morning, prior to your departure.

Move the Tinder conversation to Whatsapp once comfortable with the match and absolutely for any & all business talk.

Start with $80. The hardcore pros will laugh. You don't want those. Terrible performers. Hardcore pros will typically share a pricing guide with you in WhatsApp once you exchange numbers. The semi pros will usually counter with $100 or accept the offer. Do not exchange social media accounts. If she sends you pictures in whatsapp, MAKE SURE her pictures do not automatically download to your cell device. There is a setting in whatsapp and when I was with my GF in the states, she almost saw it. You can change that setting in whatsapp. Google if needed.

I used to have girls stay overnight. Eventually, they become naggers. They nag about everything! It's too cold. The TV is too loud. She's hungry. Her friend calls and on and on. She needs money. Their baby is sick. She wants music but you want peace and quite. She wants to drink. You drank too much and need to chill.

It's just best to do the dirty deed and send her on the way. You'll avoid A LOT of problems (or potential problems) by doing so. Just pay what they ask. Unless, it's too high. If they say $150, for an hour, I will not pay that. That's too high.
