So I will be arriving on Saturday afternoon.
Hoping to be at Cocal hotel by 1130pm.
I am staying at mariott los Sueños with my K*ds so I can’t
bring my guest back there.
How do I arrange for a room for couple hours before I select a guest?
Seems like you need to know if Chica’s are allowed. What the fee will be,
Etc.
Should I book a cheap room for the week that I will be visiting in Jaco.
If yes, how to know which places are chica friendly?
In the states there are many hotels with rooms for rent for few hours, I haven’t seen that talked about on these forums.
Any advice?

Come back without the family and after you've had more time to research. Going in blind, with fam nearby is just plain dumb and dangerous.

I always thought we supported each other.
There couldn’t be any more fun excursions and things to do with teenagers during the day in such a beautiful part of the world. The mongering part of the trip will be late at night for a few hours. How would that be dangerous.

How could it be dangerous?

Swanning around Jaco late at night... in a country with a murder rate twice that of the US and in a town known for late night criminal activity? At places like short-time hotels (in Costa Rica, these are called 'motels') and strip clubs?

Get a room at one of the guest-friendly hotels that takes the girl's ID - go pick out a mercenary at the Cocal.

Try to get a room at the Mango Mar, right outside the gate of the CoCal. 3 minute walk from the CoCal bar & they check IDs.

Taxi there and back. MM3 and nosejelly are correct and they are not judging you. Believe it or not, they just don't want to be reading about another gringo who was in the wrong place at the wrong time!
