Hey Guys,

New to the site. Heading to CR for the first time this year. I am a 25 year old guy from San Francisco. Have been to thailand and tijuana but with friends and this will be my first solo trip. Will greatly appreciate it if some of you can answer the following questions.

Is it better to just stay in san jose or split time with san jose and jaco? will be coming for 8-10 days
I am available to come to Costa Rica from middle of August to middle of December. Which month would you recommend to go?
I know mongers are usually older guys but is there a younger crowd there also?

color=#8040FF]Def a smaller younger crowd, many surfer types in Jaco but San Jose leans to the 40+ crowd[/color][/color]

8-10 days you definitely need to do something to break it up anyway
rent a car and head out to the beach for a few days
if Jaco isn't happening there are great beaches close by to visit
