I posted down below on this...but even if you stay at Amistad ..SL is a TWO minute walk and HDR is a 15 minute walk and 5 minute ride. And for a tip..I think you would enjoy the fellowship at Amistad better and you can always bring girls in and out no problem with ease. Trust me when I say after doing CR for a few years and 10 trips the break from getting trolled upon is welcome, however your first time will be exciting and I know you will want the action. Cross off El rey and cross off Morazán.

Hello fellas, I'm 24 years old, Spanish speaker, first time monger and currently planning a week long trip to San Jose this September! I know when I'm going, what I want to do, but not where to stay. From what little I have gathered so far, I have three options. El rey, Amistad, and Morazan.

La Amistad: The rooms look great, fair rates and a welcoming atmosphere, but the ticas are nowhere on the premises and I don't want to walk for more than 5 minutes with one or get a taxi every single round. This hotel was my first choice. I wanted to rent a master suite ( or any room with a Jacuzzi ) and whatsapp one or two ticas per day, but now that idea is losing its luster after reading some of your opinions about the CR backpage; please prove me wrong and show me that the backpage is a decent alternative.

Morazan: For its location, rates and superior room quality to the king next door, el morazan is a solid second choice, going for the gold if the backpage is all trash. Any intel on the morazan's master suite and overall experience is welcomed ( I NEED a room with a Jacuzzi lol ) . If I stay at the morazan , is it as easy as walking next door to del rey, pick a tica and walk out 2 minutes later?

El REY: Last but looking the least is the tica oasis of San Jose. The convenience factor is attractive, but the rooms aren't; the only decent one is the master suite but is way overpriced for what it offers. For those who frequent del rey, room-wise, was your stay bearable?

September trip, you're quite the planner. Just teasing I researched the heck out of my first trips too. You're wise to do some homework.

Good advice on hotels from others here.

24 yo spanish speaker, you don't need backpage, nor do you want it. Scammers, bait n switch etc. Yeah I tried to arrange one last trip... with independent conformation she was legit.

Why the aversion to getting out from the hotel to play? If there's a mobility issue of some sort I could see that. If not, get out there and check out some MPs.

Good choice, you won't regret it.

Go to the other hotels during your stay, most will gladly show you rooms.

Then you have even more info when deciding for a future visit.

Thats a good idea. La amistad seems like a popular choice, del rey seems too much for me. Although i enjoy the party i dont like to shit where sleep
