I am planning my 1st trip to San Jose from December 17th-December21st since that may be the only time I can make it down there this year and I really want to make good use of vacation that will not carry over to 2016. I had seen a recommendation not to go during Christmas week since I might end up drinking iced tea with a bunch of guys and Chicas will leave to go see family. I know December 17th-December 21st is getting pretty close to Christmas, but is past the time where I can enjoy my time with the Chicas?

Thanks Rover. Glad to know my vacations going to good use and I won't be hanging around a bunch of guys at a higher cost then just kicking back at home.

Agreed! Last week of the month (other than Dec) can also be an advantage with rent coming due.

This is where chatting them up really helps. Without getting nosy you can glean useful info. Last trip one let it drop that she was late on rent. As midnight approached, with few takers in sight, that became leverage.

8-)

And for a first trip SL is a great choice. You mention that you might not make it back after your first go.

Thought I'd be one and done too. Wrong! I just grabbed a plane ticket for next spring.

CR is like a bacon wrapped narcotic. You seek out ways to get more.

This will be the only time I make the Costa Rica trip.....THIS YEAR!!! I'm not even going to try telling myself that I'll be one and done! The reason I'm cramming this trip in this year is cause I've got vacation that I can't roll over into next year. I'll be back! Unless everyone who posts about these trips are full of shit.

You have your head on straight. You'll have a blast. Do post a TR if you can.

you may be limited to mostly CR girls, many the Nicas and others may be enroute back home around that date especially if they have their bonus money, if they have real jobs also.

Towards the end your trip is the beginning of Christmas desperation time for the little darlings. Basically, 99% of them could not save a colon if their life depended on it, so they're always struggling to pay bills (on time), buy food for the house, and buy gifts for Christmas. So the week before Christmas are prime buyer's market days because they are so desperate that they will come down in price with a little show of interest, some haggling, and willingness to walk away.

Thanks for the great information and advise everyone. Looks like my plan shall be as follows...Thursday and Friday December 17th-18th, hit up the Thai Massages and happy hour at the SL through the early evening, then head out to HDR, KL& BM and other places at night for the festivities keeping mind that the Columbians and Dominicans might be going home so if they're there, go for it! I figure out what I'll do Saturday when I get there. I doubt there will be any good college football left at that time of year. If in doubt, I'll repeat my what happens Thursday and Friday night. Sunday, drink beer and watch football all day long with the local CR girls still around. Monday, head home. I can live with it!

Maybe no college football games but college basketball season should be in full swing. I'll be there the end of January with the same goals as you. First night at HDR, next 3 at SL. Haven't been to CR in several years and looking forward to seeing what the availability of SL girls is like. Hopefully I'll be able to improve their personal income a bit.
